Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

So was it officially announced? I figured I'd get an Emergency Alert that the Emergencies Act was enacted across Canada and whatever.

Or was this shit all bluster? So far I haven't heard a proper announcement that civil rights are suspended.

Edit: And no, I'm not checking CBC, they're the ones that pushed this bullshit.
Seems the French Quebec network TVA announced it as well.

I dated a girl in high school who spent the better part of a decade moving around foster homes. That shit will fucking break you and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, let alone small children with parents who actually love them. These Redditors my blood boil.
The redditors deserve all the sympathy that they would give to those kids.
Is there even a point in having ''civil conversation'' with leftists? Sam Hyde's bit about them wanting anyone right of center dead and their kids raped and brainwashed rings truer with each passing day. I don't know if I can offer any ''serious'' advise beside get the fuck out of the niggercattle hive cities, especially if you have families.
You can always ask them which one of them wants to take their unassisted skydiving lesson out of the helicopter first.

They DO think terrorism is a valid means of change, but only in their side. See: 2020 riots.

Cold water HAS been thrown on any U.S. convoys, everyone knows that after Jan. 6 and subsequent exposed operations (like the "kidnap the Michigan governor" plan which was correctly called as a glow-op from day one), no one is going to pull any funny business with the feds around. Jan. 6 had a "chilling effect" on any future right-wing protests. The feds know this. We know this.

And again, it IS different here because the authoritarian bullshit Trudeau can get away with is usually shot down by the courts here.
January 6th seems like the perfect storm where a demoralized police force, the Pentagon at the time prepping for Biden and ignoring Trump, the Democrats at the time being very unironically fearful of Trump and federal agents heavily surprised at folks wanting to storm the capital led to that.

There were protests before it, that had no violence of that kind in DC. I wonder if the whole idea of it being a glow op came from Tucker given that he doesn't believe that the election was rigged and heavily luckwarm towards how fucked that election was.

Trump's real failure on January 6th was not firing almost all of the subversives in his administration months or years earlier that were still loyal to Obama and Bush.

An easy solution for next time, would be not storming the capitol for the next protest in DC and going by the timeline, apparently there was a crowd there when Trump was somewhere else iirc. The troubles began an hour after Trump ended his speech.

Also just don't join any plots that involve murdering high level politicians or celebrities. Those same style of honeypots were used on muzzies who didn't have the means, but wanted to kill a lot of Americans and ended up getting arrested by the FBI, and I am sure most of us here would cheer that when the muzzies were getting it.

Though its kind of weird that all those anti terror laws and techniques that were used against muzzies, was probably a trial run before trying it out on the citizens of the western anglosphere.

:story: Only by working for billion-dollar Jew companies can you support true communism. Being self-employed makes you a petit bourgeoisie. It's amazing how if you lay bare any of these post-enlightenment ideologies, they're all only really beneficial to one particular group of people.
Nazism is a post-enlightenment ideology too, but it only benefits the Jews by losing to the Eternal Anglo and creating a founding myth.

Yes, Trudeau has called a caucus meeting which should be going on right now.

For once the Ottawa Citizen shows a shred of having Theory of Mind:
Strong leaders would be expected to demonstrate a little compassion and respect, indicating that while they don’t agree with the disgruntled employees’ point of view, and don’t intend to revoke the policy, they at least understood the employees had concerns and wanted them to feel heard.
What if, instead, they tried to curry favour with the majority by putting down the dissenters, calling them names, implying they were foolish, idiotic and dangerous? If they did, and the disenfranchised workers felt further marginalized and ignored, and started picketing in the lobby of the building, preventing employees and customers from coming and going, whose fault would that be? Would the owners be at least partly responsible for the situation?
Businesses in downtown Ottawa are enduring unnecessary hardship and loss of income. You could certainly blame the protesters who are blocking their front doors. But who created the conditions that made the demonstrators angry, made them feel unnoticed, even provoked? And who let them march right in, despite having the resources and tactics to stop them before they could set up and become impossible to remove?
Can we no longer expect that in a time of crisis, the federal government will unite Canadians, rather than drive a wedge between us for political advantage? The demonstrators are wrong about many things. But their actions weren’t inevitable. The chances of a highly disruptive response could have been reduced by the choice of principled leadership over partisan politics. What happened to being a prime minister for everyone? What happened to the Liberals doing politics differently?

I really, really, really would rather these powers not be invoked.

That being said, watching the international shitstorm from a western democracy using emergency extrajudicial powers to crack down on protests would be something fun to watch while I'm inside under military curfew. At least when France cracks down on the protestors, they don't outlaw protesting, and its basically the french tradition of a mutual violent outing over the politics of the day.

The US is terrified of convoys forming so another dystopian city is removing mandates pre-emptively

Should muster together the ultimate convoy at this point and block strategic bridges and tunnels until these criminals fear the people again.
The blood is in the water.
And add to that list of demands answers to who was on the grassy knoll, where is Jimmy Hoffa, unredacted records of Dulce Base, and definitively what is in Marsellus Wallace's suitcase.
