I love Godwinson, but he's even more overbearing than PPP was (to his credit). He would set the pace and overwhelm any guest was on with, PPP included. Godwinson "steered the ship" in the same way Somalian pirates "steer" ocean cruise liners.
PPP going for 10 hours was fine for some when the content was plentiful, but he goes to the same well to often. How many booberlee videos did we get that were basically the same? beating the same Fuentes or baked stuff into the ground during dry spells. His best stuff IMO were the fake interviews with randbot and moma fuentes being particular high notes. Wouldn't you say that the fake interview schtick was a well that they went to just as often for a time? People remember the good ones (Mama Fuentes was great, and I think that might have been PPP's discord gf iirc) but most of those were fucking dire. Godwinson and PPP really were a good duo. Godwinson sometimes lost steam in his solo content while PPP alone just keeps going and going and repeating himself until it’s boring. Together they played off each other well and the contrast between the fat loudmouth Canadian and the Brit aristocrat larper was great. The Mama JF Christmas reviews are an excellent example.
The diaper prank was funny, but Jesse's a shock jock character. PPP's content is accessible because it feels authentic.
Donators yell at Andy in the chat if their superchats aren't read immediately. If they save superchats until the show's over, the donators are mad. If they read them immediately, it interrupts the flow.
