I don't think he is chinese, sounds more like a wog given the accent towards the end. I'm not sure what he says, something like 'too late, it got him', what do you think? Not a fan of the chinese cunts here who take all the undersize fish, but even if he was, wtf was he meant to do? Probably in shock at what he is seeing and not even sure what to do.

It might also be worth noting that while the media is reporting the person as a swimmer, noone is going for a swim off the rocks (except teenagers daring each other to jump in, but there would have been a group of them), so it was likely someone doing scuba, snorkling, checking crab pots or something like that.

I don't think the voices you hear belong to that person.
I'm extremely familiar with that area, and the only people I have ever seen dress that way when fishing are Asians.

Hard to know huh? I would guess the initial shock followed by blood loss meant he lost conciousness pretty quickly. That initial fear though, you can only imagine how hard his adrenaline must've been pumping.

Anyway his name is out there now, 35 year old dive instructor Simon Nellist from the UK, looks like he spent some time in Thailand as a dive instructor before coming to Australia.

Here's the suicide of Ricardo Lopez AKA the Björk Stalker (skip to around 9:20 for the actual suicide).

Ricardo Lopez was a lonely man. He was constantly bullied for his weight, he never had a girlfriend (Or any real friends for that matter) and lived alone in a crummy South Florida apartment.
As a result of his isolation, he became detached from society and developed an obsession for the Icelandic musician Björk. However, Ricardo came to resent Björk after he discovered she was in a relationship with another man. Soon afterwards, he started a video diary which documented his creation and eventual mailing of a device meant to severely disfigure Björk and constantly remind her of her betrayal to Ricardo. After mailing the bomb, Ricardo shaved his head, painted it red and green, put a Björk song on, and once the song ended blow his brains out.

This was really hard for me to watch. It's not particularly graphic but the sheer anticipation of it with him rocking back and forth and the Björk song in the background coming to an end combined with his heavy breathing really fucking puts me on edge. And that sound he makes once he pulls the trigger... it's just... it's horrible. The whole story is sad and one I think about every now and then. It's a thing you can't get out of your head, much like how Ricardo couldn't get Björk out of his head.

Something I always found simultaneously depressing and hilarious about this is that the "The Best Of Me" art piece he was doing was supposed to have his brains and blood all over it as he probably thought that was the only way he'd get recognized for art.

But as you can see when he does it, nothing shows up at all, even when he dies the best of him is just that, absolutely nothing, and when given his life up to that point, it just becomes both depressingly and hilariously ironic.

It was stupid of him to kill himself so soon after sending the package. Had he waited a few weeks instead the bomb would have made it to Bjork's residence.

Of course, Bjork's mail was vetted by other people, so she likely wouldn't have been harmed anyway.

I get that they're kids but you don't fucking run in the middle of a highway or avenue during rush hour, it gets even worse when you see the dumbass parent just a couple of feet away from their tard spawn giving no proper supervision or at a minimum holding their kid's hand.

Do insurance fraud scams pay more if you're a child getting hit? That's the only explanation I can see out of this.
