To be fair I would have never thought baked alaska could be a genocidal kkk neonazi but not because of any kind of ideological reasons, more so the fact that he just comes across as a total and complete burnout loser. he lacks the fundamental "will to power" to do something cool like commit war crimes. Very telling but not very surprising this is who nick would tell his audience to idolize and model themselves after while also telling them not to lift weights or live a healthy lifestyle or anything.

This is Beardson last summer prior to Nick setting up CozyTV. You can see he's entirely fed up with the political grift and knows he fucked up his own name & reputation so he's left with little recourse. Discourages new people from getting involved in politics and tells them that courage and conviction won't put food on his table. I agree with the claim that RvW is built on sand, even the justices that created that ruling said that it was bad legally. As far as women being whores for getting abortions, I partially agree. Not sure how that statement in itself is bad.

Clipped two small portions of Baked Alaska from the Theroux documentary and one of Nick, I don't think I have seen these clipped in the thread yet? I've not scoured any other thread though so forgive me if I'm being redundant in this.

The first one of Baked is why I'm posting them in Nick's thread alongside his clip, I left some lead in but ultimately the clip is BA spouting canned talking points in praise of Nick. Baked staged it so that Nick's stream is paused on his television when the camera crew walks in and then talks about how Nick speaks from the heart and doesn't care if what he is saying comes off as politically incorrect. Sounds like he doesnt care about optics? Finally Baked says that Nick will be president one day.

I think there is a more subtle point being made in this programme which is not targeted at people who are already aware of/willing to give a sympathetic hearing to Nick, which is about platforming.

One of the strongest arguments the dim right on either side of the Atlantic make is about the effect of no-platforming views which may be extreme, but are legal to express. And this is an issue which sits very uncomfortably with the educated soft left in the UK, rather more so that it does with the American left. There are a lot of icky feelings and reservations about allowing small but very loud interest groups to shout down vast swathes of public speech or events, and recently in the UK various tranny crusades have turned against university teaching staff for suggesting that there is more to womanhood than wearing a dress.

So, no- platforming and when and how it is done is a live issue for many of the usual UK audience for Louis. Nick, whose audience is basement dwellers on the internet and makes a big thing of being excluded from mainstream platforms, was offered the platform of a documentary on the fucking BBC, the sine qua non of the liberal soft left and the very institution he was most likely to describe as cucked gay woke etc etc. He was repeatedly offered, indeed asked, to elucidate the very views on white nationalism etc which he says have caused him to be deplatformed - the very speech he says has been suppressed.

He and the other nitwits all, without fail, refused to repeat these views on camera for the BBC. Indeed some of them they actually repudiated.

It isn’t about platforming. It never has been. Sunlight is a disinfectant for weak ideas and those who grift them. “I would be a wignat on the TV but no one will let me on it” is a far stronger argument in the hands of someone who is trying to appeal to the disaffected than “They let me on the telly and I looked like a weak fanny who wouldn’t repeat what I said about the joos“. No platforming is the wrong tactic to take with political headbangers, and this programme is aimed to add to that debate. It was the mainstream media equivalent of going up to the incel at school and saying “I heard you called me a whore, fight at the school gates at three“ and then the whole school sees them shit bricks and not turn up.

And if your interest is in whether or not young folks are being “radicalised on the internet”, that was a notable lesson to see how Nick did with his “big platform” at last.

When i look at groypers i stopped seeing radicalized people who want to change their nation through a violent Revolte, that's bullshit. It's really just a bunch of young spergs who never got into real politics (Like in their neighbourhoods) and now larp in their echo chamber which leads to their grasp on reality degenerating and increasingly bizzare behavior
