Good ol' Mount Stupid.@The Periodic Gamer said: Look, Celtic is a moron who doesn't understand how to tell a good story. He's in that sweet spot of good enough to know the basics, but not good enough to realize he's a hack.
Anyone willing to look at Judgmental Critter and Twiins' iink's podcast about RWBY rewrites?
So first of all peep the comments, the retardation and copium is off the charts. I'm going to paraphrase and write down the gist of what they're saying, my own thoughts will be in brackets. Here it is.
These two somehow managed to combined the worse aspects of mediocrity4 and Unicorn of War. Their videos alone are incredibly monotonous and devoid of any new ideas. Not to mention the massive suckfest towards fan content.Anyone willing to look at Judgmental Critter and Twiins' iink's podcast about RWBY rewrites?
Now that's a certified Redditor moment. Autistically overanalytical yet somehow completely misses the mark by miles.View attachment 2983349
Torchwick is an impressively written morally gray character because he did bad stuff once and now does good stuff while making tit jokes.
Thank you for putting it into words in a way that I could not. These two somehow managed to combined the worse aspects of mediocrity4 and Unicorn of War. Their videos alone are incredibly monotonous and devoid of any new ideas. Not to mention the massive suckfest towards fan content.
Missing the mark implies that they are technically right, but not seeing the bigger picture. Now that's a certified Redditor moment. Autistically overanalytical yet somehow completely misses the mark by miles.
Mediaocrity4 once told us he was happy he got his first job at 27 because he's fine with still mooching off his mother while he finally has his own money to buy vidya and junk food. These two somehow managed to combined the worse aspects of mediocrity4 and Unicorn of War. The funny part is, I've basically been saying the same thing about canon Ruby Rose since volume 4. To paraphrase a Youtube comment I saw once:If anything this make her feel like Ruby Rose, the underaged prostitute from Victorian England/Oregon Trail America.
My synopsis of RWBY since V2 has always been "RWBY is what happens when you never grow up to realize that all those cool story ideas you had as a kid were really stupid ideas."The funny part is, I've basically been saying the same thing about canon Ruby Rose since volume 4. To paraphrase a Youtube comment I saw once:
"Ruby looks more and more like the prostitute she will have to become when this RWBY thing doesn't work out for her.
Only since V2?My synopsis of RWBY since V2 has always been "RWBY is what happens when you never grow up to realize that all those cool story ideas you had as a kid were really stupid ideas."
I actually really liked V1 and V2. It was janky and shitty and anything that wasn't a fight scene looked like ass but I've always had a soft spot for rebel entertainment and outlaw productions, plus for all of it's problems the show had a serious sense of style with the colors, character designs, and fight choreography. It wasn't great, but it had great moments and you could tell that the crew was truly passionate and so I gave it a pass. The show took a serious downturn in V3 and lost a lot of the snap that I used to watch for, the fights got worse and the other stuff that was already mediocre to bad wasn't getting better. V3 still had it's moments but V1-V2 will always be "RWBY" to me. RWBY to me will always be like when you find an old animation on Youtube from like twelve years ago and realize the guy only made like three episodes and then hasn't been seen for eight years, but those three episodes are great. Or that ancient webcomic that was phenomenal for 200 chapters and then just sort of stopped, no more updates, no closure.Only since V2?
Ah yes, RIP Monty. How amazing is it that everything about this show was directly tied to one single man.I actually really liked V1 and V2. Let’s just hope that the money was well saved and managed. The funny part is, I've basically been saying the same thing about canon Ruby Rose since volume 4. To paraphrase a Youtube comment I saw once:

Because the show was made more or less entirely by him, it was one of those special autistic passion projects. CRWBY basically existed just to cover the bases Monty couldn't and without him the whole thing fell apart because no one could copy his style. I don't believe in "Monty's Vision" but I do believe that he had a signature that could not be readily duplicated.Ah yes, RIP Monty. I think that’s a better way to describe things instead of “visions” or “going rogue”. Sucks Shane didn’t think the same way.Because the show was made more or less entirely by him, it was one of those special autistic passion projects. Shane's misfortune was self inflicted. He had lost someone that he saw as a very dear friend and in the absence of time cooler heads couldn't prevail, everybody deals with grief differently and clearly Shane was the type to lash out. Of course allowing himself to fall into the trap of hero worship was the first mistake but the level of hubris and entitlement in that letter is mind boggling. It really is too bad that he spent so much time sucking Monty's dick.I think that’s a better way to describe things instead of “visions” or “going rogue”. Sucks Shane didn’t think the same way.

Redditors don't understand that just because you say a lot doesn't mean it's an analysis.
I’ve never heard that before.Mediaocrity4 once told us he was happy he got his first job at 27 because he's fine with still mooching off his mother while he finally has his own money to buy vidya and junk food.
Anyways, who wants to take a steaming shit on the redesigned JNPR next?
