It sounds like they were on the outs beginning in Sept and like there was discussions of her returning to her family and or 'home support circle' prior to the blow out that caused her to leave for the week last week. I'm guessing that Callie was supposed to be moving home and dragging her feet and that led to what ever irreversable things were said. If their lease was up in Feb or Mar, that would make sense for them to cut bait at that point anyway, especially if Shane put down the first/last month rent since that means he's paid for the last month's rent already.
