Progressivism is the biggest crock of bullshit ever conceived in a democratic society. It flies in the face of freedom of thought, association, expression, and speech. Any promise of government funding wherein the government did not gain from it was, is, and always will be a pipe dream. The price we paid for trying to bring so-called underprivileged minorities up from the dirt was the allowance of social conditioning, thought crime, manipulation of media, and restrictions on freedoms. The failure here is that this approach to progressivism has become less about helping others climb the mountain and more about all of us just settling down somewhere halfway up the mountain, even if it means climbing back down. Those who don't want to climb back down and be equal and equitable will be pressured, prosecuted, imprisoned, and perhaps executed if they are so resistant to the new normal. It's no longer about having the same opportunities in life, it's about having the same life. Youth have been taught that the state will erase adversity, public education and dialogue and training programs will teach everyone the value of equality!
This is all wrong. Everyone should learn to get stoic, get thicker skin, roll with the punches, and don't associate yourself with people you don't like. Face adversity. You can't be crippled because someone comments that your skin looks like shit. Your ego cannot be vaporized when someone tells you it's gross to fuck other men. When natural adversity is removed, new adversity has to come up somewhere. New adversity is designed and advertised and easy to agree on. After all, are you not against violent, hateful, racist Nazis? Now you can throw any group under the bus as Nazis because it's easy to hate Nazis, and all these bugmen ate up the narrative that opposing the government in a democratic society is akin to white nationalism.
