I can't exactly put my finger put it, but I swear this has to be traced from Danganronpa.A new illustration of Saisho Saikou was released. It's him at 17 during World War II.

either the wiki is wrong or that channel hasn't had much traction in the last year. I took a peak and that channel barely gets a couple thousand views (alex really scraping the bottom of the barrel for supporters to put in the "meme closet") but more importantly the only yansim thing ive seen was 1980s mode waaaay back when it released. Its possible he said something negative somewhere else besides YT or alex waited untill just now to take out change the model. Seeing as how Alex likes to lurk I guess im not surprised he'd keep his eyes glued to even the smallest of "yansim channels" for any sort of criticism. His videos arent even in english.According to the wiki, it's a reference to a Brazilian Youtuber known as Molusqueti.
OH MY FUCKING GODI stared at that image for a few seconds, unable to articulate my thoughts. Thank you for summing it up nicely.
Honestly just what the fuck is wrong with this man? I know he wanted to be an author but ended up in game development, but my God, all this backstory is unnecessary. Stop writing long ass lore for every character and code.
Remember how he "wrote an entire fake anime/ enough anime lore for it to be its own project" for his videogame and marketed that as a net-positive for his craftsmanship skills, as if anyone can't do that themselves, or that it's even fucking necessary.OH MY FUCKING GOD
This absolute clown wanted to be a writer?!?!?!
I've said before that I'm a writer sperg but oh my fucking god his writing is legitimately some of the worst I have ever seen. If he tried to go into the writing industry he would be dead by now. If I were to go through the entire story though it would probably be a fucking essay.
God I fucking hate this man. He says this shit like a badge of honor.Remember how he "wrote an entire fake anime/ enough anime lore for it to be its own project" for his videogame and marketed that as a net-positive for his craftsmanship skills, as if anyone can't do that themselves, or that it's even fucking necessary.
"You've never seen or gave a fuck about this 94 year old man that i added into the game for lore, so now have an image of him as a weird looking weeb version of Lincoln from the Loud house as a soldier from WW2! Next time, we will be discussing the integral lore of how his great grandad from 1809 having an arm wrestle with Napoleon Bonerpart himself caused the events of Yandere Simulator!"A new illustration of Saisho Saikou was released. Well yeah."You've never seen or gave a fuck about this 94 year old man that i added into the game for lore, so now have an image of him as a weird looking weeb version of Lincoln from the Loud house as a soldier from WW2! And again, if the wiki is right about who that YTr is, he doesn't speak english (mexican centered spanish). Its not enough that Alex has a solid echo chamber built around him and shunning anyone throwing "vitriol" his way. But ANYONE who dares even breathe wrong in his direction gets the ban hammer, no matter how small of an audience they have or if Alex can even directly communicate with them.>Spreading misinformation and bad things about the game.
Is Yandev in that deep in denial his status as a injoke about ineptitude, autism and asset flipping? That has been a thing for years.
I can see why you feel that way. It had more to do with the reaction kgon had (and is still having 3-4 days later) to people saying that the edits looks weird. Kgon starting to mirror Alex. Id elaborate further on my stance and post the updated screenshots but a kgon orbiter in the thread had a full on tard rage melt down when I tried that before and it was all removed. I suggest you check her page for yourself.the proportion fixes make the style look much more anime-esque and less "drawn by a retarded american"
some of the face shapes don't fit the fixes but i think they do look better.
Hello! I’ve prepared a new build with a lot of bug fixes.
To see a list of everything that was fixed or changed in the latest build, scroll down past this beautiful artwork by omgayano!
Fixes and Changes
- In 1989, it is possible to use a lockpick to open the nurse’s medicine cabinet. However, between 1989 and 202X, the cabinet is upgraded with a more secure lock. This means that, in 202X, the player is not able to open the cabinet using a lockpick. Many players were reporting this as a “bug.” To make it clear that this is intentional and not a bug, a message saying “Cannot be lockpicked!” will now appear when attempting to lockpick the nurse’s cabinet in 202X.
- If a delinquent sees a corpse, he is supposed to run out of school. There was a bug that would make the delinquent boys forget about leaving school and go sit on a bench, if they were defeated in a fight after witnessing a corpse. This bug has been fixed.
- Fixed bug that prevented the game from correctly remembering whether or not one of the garden plots was occupied by a dead body, if the player saved, buried a body, advanced to the next day, then loaded their earlier save.
- I realized that “only one tarp bag spawns when you dismember a corpse on top of a sheet of tarp” was not a bug, it was how the feature was supposed to work. So, the feature has been reverted back to how it originally was.
- Since 1980s Mode takes place after Ryoba had already been stalking her Senpai for 1 year, the Senpai Shrine in her room is now filled with items from the start of the game.
- Fixed bug that allowed the player to enter first-person mode and rotate around, during points of the tutorial when Ryoba was not meant to be able to move or turn.
- Fixed bug that caused the protagonist’s bookbag to float in midair when loading a save file, if the player was wearing a bookbag when the save file was made.
- Some of the delinquent boys’ profiles were mixed up. (Backstories intended for one boy were in another boy’s profile.) These errors have been fixed.
- Fixed bug that would cause the day to prematurely end if the player reported Osana for vandalism on Thursday morning instead of Thursday afternoon.
- Fixed bug that caused the week to reset back to Sunday if Ryoba was suspended from school for a length of time that would push her into next week.
- Fixed bug that prevented the game from accurately remembering the position/rotation of the shovel, axe, or circular saw when loading a save file.
- Fixed bug that caused the “Pool’s Closed” sign to change female students’ routines even on days when they didn’t plan on sunbathing at the pool.
- Fixed bug that prevented the game from remembering the player’s settings for particles and color grading when loading into the school scene.
- Fixed bug that caused your Mission Mode target to refuse to check their locker after being told by the protagonist that a note was inside.
- Fixed bug that prevented student portraits from updating properly if the player used the “Provide Student Info” service from Info-chan.
- Fixed bug that caused the “Reputation will update after attending class” text to appear during Mission Mode, where it is irrelevant.
- Fixed bug that would cause an unintentional subtitle to display at the bottom of the screen after reporting a corpse to the teacher.
- Fixed bug that caused the end-of-day text to incorrectly report Ryoba’s suspensions as being shorter than they actually were.
- Fixed bug that caused the screen to turn blue in 1980s Mode if the player pressed the “E” key while in first-person view.
- Fixed bug that would cause a female character’s chest to resize itself after the player had completing a task for her.
- Fixed bug that would cause one of the male students in 1980s Mode to lose his hair model when he witnessed a murder.
- Fixed bug that would cause some students’ routines to be incorrect if the player loaded a save during Osana’s week.
- Fixed bug that prevented the player from being able to pick up any object that was dropped in a puddle of water.
- Fixed bug that caused the game to believe that a 5-day suspension was the same as getting expelled from school.
- Fixed bug that caused Mai Waifu to perpetually walk in place if Midori was dead during Osana’s week.
- Fixed bug that caused Raibaru to slide across the ground in front of Osana in some circumstances.
- Fixed bug that caused Ryoba’s hair to clip into the camera while walking in first-person view.
- Fixed bug that allowed the Magical Girl Pretty Miyuki minigame to be accessible in 1989.

Its not enough that Alex has a solid echo chamber built around him and shunning anyone throwing "vitriol" his way. Happy Valentine’s Day!
I was informed about some really unfortunate bugs in the most recent build, so I quickly prepared a new one with the issues fixed. Also, I have some news that will be relevant to anyone who was encountering the “screen turns blue when entering first person view” bug.
To read a list of everything that was fixed in the latest build, scroll down past this super-adorable Valentine’s Day artwork by maxusfox23!
Ever since the first release of 1980s Mode, I have been consistently receiving a very bizarre bug report: For some players, the screen would turn blue if they entered 1st-person view while in 1980s Mode.Blue Screen Bug
The instructions to encounter the bug were simple: “Enter first-person view.” However, despite the simplicity of the circumstances, I was never able to encounter this bug. It just never happened for me. So, I was never able to take any action on it. However, someone recently identified the circumstances that cause the bug to occur: it only happens when you play the game at an aspect ratio that is not 16:9. That’s why it was happening for some players, but not others…(and never for me, since I always test the game at a 16:9 ratio.)
It is unknown why this bug would happen in 1980s Mode, but not in 202X mode. This seems to imply that some 1980s Mode-exclusive script is trying to access the screen’s height/width, and is throwing an error when those numbers don’t fit cleanly into 16:9 math operations. However, I cannot identify any script or post-processing effect that would throw an error as a result of the screen’s aspect ratio. (I don’t think it’s one of my scripts; I think it’s a third-party plug-in that I’m using.)
Because I can’t find the source of the problem, but I don’t want players to encounter a solid blue screen, I’ve enacted a temporary solution: I have disabled all aspect ratio options that are not 16:9. (Many aspects of the game’s UI and HUD were designed to work exclusively with 16:9 aspect ratios, so locking the player to those ratios solves a lot of other problems, as well.) I’m sorry, but for now, you will have to play Yandere Sim at a resolution like 1280×720, 1600×900, 1920×1080, or 2560×1440.
Obviously, the “proper” solution is to identify the plug-in that is causing the bug, and modify it so that it is compatible with all aspect ratios…rather than just taking options away from the player so that they can’t encounter the problem. However, I can’t find the source of the problem, so I can’t solve it right now. (To be honest, I’ll probably need help from someone in order to resolve this issue properly, and I’m currently unsure where that help is going to come from.)
In short: If you have a computer monitor that doesn’t use a 16:9 aspect ratio…please just play the game at 1280×720 in a window; it’s the only way to avoid certain graphical bugs that I currently have no control over.
Fixes and Changes
- Fixed bug that caused a rival to return to her desk instead of continuing to her destination, if the player spoke to the rival when she was between her own desk and Senpai’s desk, but only on Friday.
- Fixed bug that would cause jogging students to lose their walk animation and use a jogging animation as their walking animation if anything interrupted their routine while they were jogging.
- Fixed bug that prevented the game from recoginzing that a tranquilizer/sedative was no longer in Yandere-chan’s inventory after it had been used to tranq a student in the gym storage room.
- Fixed bug that caused the game to skip past Monday and go directly into Tuesday if the player used Sunday as a playable day instead of skipping it.
- Fixed bug that prevented the player from using the “Escape” key to summon the “Exit To Menu” window if debug commands were disabled.
- Fixed bug that prevented the game from acknowledging that a club leader had died/gone missing under certain circumstances.
- Fixed bug that caused the text box in the End-of-Day results sequence to clip into any 3D models directly in front of it.
- Fixed bug that would cause an object to become stretched out while it was stashed inside of a weapon bag.
- Fixed bug that caused the game to never advance past Sunday if the player used Sunday as a playable day.
- Added the optional “80s blue tint” effect to certain scenes that didn’t previous possess the effect.
Hello!
Darn, there were some unforgivable bugs in the last build! I’ve prepared a new update with 27 differences from the previous build.
To see a list of everything that changed, scroll down past this photograph of my car:
Just kidding! That’s not a real-life vehicle; it’s a virtual car from a video game, decorated with a custom texture. What game? Who made the texture? Who took the screenshot? I’m really sorry; I don’t actually know! But, I still wanted to share this with you, anyway, since it made me really happy to know that someone enjoys Yandere Simulator enough to decorate their virtual car with it!
In my previous post, I dedicated four paragraphs to talking about an unusual bug that I couldn’t solve, and I have an update on the situation.Blue Screen Bug Update
Thanks to assistance from someone who has experience with the Unity game engine, the exact cause of the “Blue Screen Bug” has been determined! The problem has been resolved, and now it should be possible to play 1980s Mode at non-16:9 aspect ratios without the blue screen bug!
…with that said, the game’s UI/HUD was made for 16:9 aspect ratios only, and playing the game in any other aspect ratio will result in parts of the HUD being cut off. I actually never meant to allow people to be able to play the game at any other aspect ratio, and people were only able to do it because of an oversight on my part.
Designing a game’s UI to only be compatible with one aspect ratio was a very bad decision, and I eventually want to update the HUD elements to dynamically resize/reposition themselves so that the game can be played at any aspect ratio. However, doing that is not a high priority right now, so for now, the game will remain compatible with 16:9 only. (I do think that this is one of those things I should eventually fix, though. Along with allowing the player to be able to re-map the controls…)
On the plus side, though, there is something very uplifting about this situation. I posted about the Blue Screen Bug at 12:35 AM, and received a solution at 7:42 AM. It’s uplifting to know that if I’m struggling with a problem, there are people willing to investigate the issue and offer me their advice within 8 hours. I appreciate that very much!
Fixes and Changes
- If Osana has an event scheduled to take place immediately after she changes her shoes at her locker, she will fail to notice a note inside of her locker, because she is too distracted/preoccupied by her upcoming event. This is a deliberate game design decision, not a bug. However, many people misidentified it as a bug and reported it. So, from now on a message will be displayed onscreen if Osana overlooks a note in her locker, to inform players of why she didn’t find the note.
- If you are playing with a keyboard, it is now possible to use the WASD keys to move the little target icon during the guidance counselor segment, if you would prefer to do that instead of using your mouse cursor to click your reply to the guidance counselor.
- Fixed bug that allowed the player to end the day while a murder-suicide was taking place, resulting in a situation where the murder victim came back to life, and the character who committed suicide also came back to life and got arrested by the police.
- Fixed bug that caused the game to incorrectly check whether or not the protagonist was near a dead body, if the player had placed a dead body into a locker and removed it from that locker earlier in the day.
- Fixed bug that would prevent the “Offer Help” prompt from appearing if the player arranged a meeting with a rival, didn’t talk to the rival, then arranged a 2nd meeting later in the day.
- Fixed bug that would cause the game to skip past Monday and go directly into Tuesday if the player was using the “Week Select” screen to skip directly to a specific week in 1980s Mode.
- If the player killed a student, saved, reloaded, then disposed of that student’s body, that student would continue to appear at school on subsequent days. This bug has been fixed.
- Fixed bug that prevented a bloody weapon’s outline color from returning to the “harmless object” color if the weapon had been cleaned and no longer counted as murder evidence.
- If a club closes down, the game is supposed to display a camera shot of the relevant club. Due a bug, this camera shot was not being displayed. That bug has been fixed.
- From now on, the 1980s Mode student council member responsible for patrolling in clubrooms will patrol through the Newspaper Club, as well. (Previously, he didn’t.)
- Fixed bug that would allow the player to change the currently-selected save file while the “Are you sure you want to delete this save file?” window was onscreen.
- Fixed bug that prevented a raincoat’s outline from turning orange if it was splatted with blood. (All murder evidence is supposed to have an orange outline.)
- Fixed bug that prevented students from spawning properly if the player spent 1 hour torturing a kidnapped student before going to school in the morning.
- From now on, the game will remember the state of the bookshelves in the library (whether or not they have been knocked over) when saving and loading.
- When removing an item from a bookbag, the item now instantly appears in the protagonist’s hands, instead of unceremoniously plopping onto the ground.
- Fixed bug that caused the Journalist to identify Ryoba as carrying a corpse if she was carrying a corpse that was concealed inside of a garbage bag.
- Fixed bug that would cause a student to remain locked in place permanently if the player saved and loaded while a student was changing their shoes.
- Fixed bug that caused the protagonist to be identified as “near a dead body” even if the dead body was concealed inside of a trash bag.
- Fixed bug that caused students to ignore notes in their locker while changing their shoes at the beginning of the day.
- Fixed bug that prevented the player from being able to lockpick the nurse’s medicine cabinet in 1980s Mode.
- From now on, when a club shuts down in 1980s Mode, the poster for that club will disappear from the school.
- Fixed bug that would cause item names to display strangely when concealed inside of a bookbag.
- Fixed bug that would make Raibaru run into classroom 1-1 while Osana was changing her shoes.
- Fixed bug that allowed a student whose phone had been stolen to call the police.
- Fixed bug that prevented “Discord Rich Presence” from working as intended.
- Fixed bug that could cause the game’s resolution to become 193×1 pixels.
- It is no longer possible to conceal a trash can inside of a bookbag.
So he's copying Brianna Wu's art now?Speaking of misinformation: yansim is a magnet for all kinds of speds and dramma whores who make up shit just to get their fix. Remember that time someone said the game has million polygon poster?
@Empty bottle of fanta Dude can you stop sperging out about kgon? And stop fucking lying, we have your shit saved in the spergatory, you literally shat this thread with your demented rants. He's mocking all of you retards from r/osana in his community posts.
