To be fair, it's Twitter, so the prominence of the bluechecks there might be slightly less than organic. It wouldn't be surprising if they astroturfed a trend opposing them in order to promote posts which are 'deboonking' it, Google etc. do similar things to counter 'misinformation.'

However, yeah, I've heard some insane takes on this from the left. One leftist actually said that these protestors were treated much more lightly because they're 'right-wing,' and BLM was handled with a far more aggressive approach. The level of brain rot from the left on this issue resembles the Rittenhouse case, and is also accompanied with a lot of 'baa white supremacist fascists bad baa.'

Going to be a sperg and quote myself, but I have to add it:

Maybe kiwis don't understand how significant this is. I am emphatically not part of the typical demographic of the truckers. I am myself an urban Canadian, city born and raised, of haut bourgeois socioecominic background. I'm basically of the same "caste" as most of these bluecheck bootlickers. I don't think they understand how many of their neighbours quietly hate them, and that it isn't just the reflective-jacket plebs and hicks who support the protests.

No one sane believes that idiots on Reddit and Twitter represent any real portion of the population. I know leftists think tanks believe they matter - But at the same time, those groups are also too lazy to google and find out that 90% of them are bots from the east or legit tranny NEETs with no power.

So there's something pretty funny that could be done here. China has recently been getting into slap fights with the US and Canada over Arbitrary Detentions. I feel like if people spammed the Chinese Embassy with the horse video they might use it as an excuse to try and make a big deal about it at the next UN security council meeting in order to embarrass the US and Canada.
