Getting married at 19 and 23 - how old were they when they met?? Either they got married really fast (which is still odd), or Alice was underage and in a relationship with a college student.

Usually, I won't shit on two consenting adults doing their thing. But it's apparent that something is not right with Alice. Childhood sexual abuse really fucks you over when it comes to forming relationships as an adult (and creeps are great at spotting vulnerable people). That existing trauma, plus the trauma of losing her child, seems like it sent her over the edge completely. Mentally ill people are statistically more likely to be victims of abuse (sources: 1, 2) and him being older is already a red flag.

Unfortunately this practice does exist ( I just got the time period wrong). It's called premastication and it's a practice from several ancient cultures that mostly fell out of favor in the west in the early middle ages. Although it's still used in some of the poorer countries to this day. Not only is it disgusting it's also a great way to give your child a serious infection (or worse HIV).
Just buy your kid some baby food Alice.

She (most likely) means circumcision. Ultra-crunchy types think a medical procedure performed on an infant is the same as being a fully aware child, with a brain capable of being traumatized, being violated.

I won't shit up the thread with my personal beliefs. But in America, it's a cultural norm. It's extremely important for Jewish people. It doesn't hurt the baby, they use a local anesthetic. In some cases, it's even medically neccessary. It's absurd to compare that to molestation, which is obviously never beneficial.

Who knows, maybe she really thinks that the evil doctors whisk off all the male babies so that Big Pharma can fondle them.
