I've had the displeasure of being associated with a LOT of cops, and not a single one of them was't a piece of shit that didn't get off to sticking it to the people they are sworn to protect. They'll do all the photo ops and act nice in public, and then when they're in the bar or together in private they're all laughing and swapping stories about how they fucked someone over.
