I think the best thing this thread has done has essentially provided a cap to the users on KO. Anytime someone new says something slightly out of line with KO's philosophy, someone on here will notice, post about it, then the new user will get banned. Whether or not they're willing to admit it, kiwifarms has galvanized the userbase. There will likely no longer be anymore new users in any significant amount because they just can't handle wrongthink.
I'd stop fucking with KO (which doesn't even mean I troll the forums anymore, I just post the stupid shit they say on here) if they were honest about what they are. If they advertised themselves as a left-wing tranny gaming forum, I'd stop caring and move on. However, as things currently are, it's just the rotting skin of FP being worn by a bunch of insane people.
Furthermore I think it's interesting that none of them have come on here to talk about why there's a KO thread here. I'm willing to talk to them on their own site, but I know I'd just immediately get banned.

Haven't seen Facepunch in years. Glad to see it's still as retarded as ever.
I had an account there years ago and I remember getting flamed on a tech thread because I said if it comes to it, you can clear cache out of apps downloaded onto an android phone to make more room. I had a sea of retards then proceed to tell me that "no that breaks the app" and because of the way the forums were, the words of an established member with a fancy name always outweighed the words of a relative newcomer. Even if what they're saying is objectively wrong. The retards genuinely thought that if you delete cache, you're deleting part of the application that could not be restored by just, reobtaining the same assets?
I also remember people used to get banned for the dumbest shit. Like pretty much every other thread had someone getting their account banned for really minor offences, non-malicious stuff and sometimes, without reason entirely.

They're still contemplating on why so many ex-FP/KO choose to come to this little corner of the internet to share their horror stories about a place that is still shamelessly calling itself a "welcoming gaming and lifestyle community" or a "successor to Facepunch".
I'm pretty sure most users here started hating trannies only after experiencing epic zingers from KO's finest social rejects, especially when the moderation team decided to change the rules completely in their favor and permaban everyone who isn't unhinged enough to think like the rest of the forum.
For other people its different reasons, maybe they...
-Joined the the forums and immediately got banned for being a gimmick or alt account, only to try to get little to no communication when trying to get unbanned
-Noticed the rules are getting way more strict but some members keep getting free passes
-Accidentally committed wrongthink without apologizing or backtracking
-Naively posted a video by a content creator that is not approved by KO even though its not written in the rules or they don't follow the drama.
-Made a non-liberal comment in the past and gets their history looked up by the moderation team or one of the regulars.
-Actually think hormone treatment for underaged kids is harmful and should not be legal
And so on and on...
In the end it's not about KO being the moralist's choice for a forum, even though they have to be fucking deluded or braindead to think they're even close to being moral with the amount of furries, degenerates and pedophiles in their userbase - it's about providing a place where you won't be instantly silenced or censored instantly for thinking a little differently. Hell, I'm willing to bet most of the people who left KO are liberals who weren't left leaning enough.
TL;DR: Best thing KO can do is stop being a bunch of hypocrites. They should rebrand themselves as a transgender gaming/lifestyle community and stop waving Facepunch's rotten corpse as a way to attract and fool people into thinking they're a completely normal gaming community - it's the equivalent of presenting yourself as a normal interest group who meets on fridays when in reality you're a mental hospital unit.

Some people are saying all the right things, about how they're scared to post for fear of being dogpiled and exiled, but none of the mods will admit that it's a serious problem. Most of the posting is done by a small group of terminally online users who have been in the community for a decade, and as long as these people are essentially running the forum nothing will ever change.
