Because this really reminds me of times I've gone a bit nuts on booze + mdma and suddenly decided I can see the code of the universe and make radical advances in literally all of the sciences and after sleeping it off wake up to like pages and pages of nonsense algebra where I've tried to write a formula to predict the future

I feel like Luke might be an undiagnosed schizophrenic; his internally logically consistent yet nonsense ramblings along with his random break from a settled life in his early 20s, unstable identity and frequent paranoia about his boogeymen like SCOTT BENSON and THE NITW FANDOM seem to fit pretty well
he also tends to latch on to current events and string elaborate meanings and stories out of them where they really don't exist in quite a messianic tone

I think he’s pretty spiteful, it’s just that he publicly plays the victim rather than openly attacking his enemies. He just wants other people to take pity on him and take revenge. He’ll retweet critical comments in the hope that other people will dogpile them.

Wrong type of troon. Luke isn't the sociopathic social manipulator type, he's the terminally girlfriendless autistic nerd type.
I still think his accidental brush with radical leftist politics had something to do with it. Getting plunged into an entirely new social circle full of new people loudly sharing their very strongly held views rattled him so badly he went full DFE.

It's the combination of autism and estradiol. In the human body, zinc and copper compete for both storage and absorption, meaning that usually they are on a balance: if one is high, the other is low, and vice versa. In autism, the balance is tilted towards high copper and low zinc. Estradiol causes the body to increase its uptake of copper; it's needed during the uterine thickening part of the menstrual cycle, where the body grows a bunch of new blood vessels in the uterine lining and needs copper for that. But of course, transwomen don't actually have a uterus, so this process that uses up the excess copper never actually happens. So autistic transwomen, of which there are a great many, are dangerously high in copper. Excess copper causes various mental health symptoms including poor emotional control and psychosis.
