I'm calling it, happenings off. Might sound rash but I feel like where at that point of threat where Russia will get something and back down. Could be wrong but thats just what I feel right now.

Putin is acting like someone with a terminal illness (like cancer),
In fact there have been several waves of rumors around his heath during the last years. From bones problems to cancer . Of course, no one knows for sure, but he is VERY picky when it comes to his health such as the 10 km table, silver particles during the meeting with media (yes, he believes this shit), always his own cup he drinks from, complete isolation during pandemics, etc, etc. Imo the grandpa is rather healthy for his age, looks rather ok too thanks to all that plastic surgery. But he is old, it is a fact, and he is 100% concerned about the transfer that will happen sooner or later, with his participation or without it. Another fact - there is NO REPLACEMENT, he has royal-like power, he is a figure that suits all oligarches, other big guys and most of Russian people. It's like playing Crusader Kings with one King for 30 years, he dies and your empire is gone in a second. Democratic countries don't have such a problem, but dictators do.

With that inb mind, it is logical that he wants to solve most of the problems those, as he believes Russia has, before the change happens. Time is pretty much against him, while the US and the EU has all time in the world.

Tweets going out about the Russian army going from one slavic shithole to another - apparently it's in the direction of Ukraine.

And they all look like Chernobyl

We know he is terrified of Covid...that much we know. He mandates testing for anyone near hin twice before they meet and when they do meet...well...

Here he is 5 days ago sitting at what maybe the longest table in the world

This is likely due to the Belarusian constitutional referendum that will be held on the 27th. Russian troops will stay in the country to ensure a "free and fair vote" in the same way they did in Crimea in 2014.

Just like Nursultan of Kazakhstan before him, Lukashenko is getting old and is looking to secure his position for a cozy retirement as a grey eminence. The constitutional reforms are pretty similar to ones passed in Kazakhstan in 2018:
(Original and DeepL translations of Belarusian constitutional reforms below, amended portions in green)

Key points:
- Belarus prohibits any aggression from its territory against other states (article 18.)
________ However, the All-Belarusian Assembly has the power to send troops abroad to maintain collective peace and security (Article 89.3.10)
- All Belarusians are constitutionally mandated to be socially responsible and to contribute as much as they can for the development of society and the state (article 21)
- Every Belarusian has a constitutional duty to be patriotic (article 54)
_________ I expect that these two will be used to prohibit protests and strikes against the government
- Nominal protections for the establishment and function of political parties, as dictated by law (article 36) along with granting political parties the power to nominate candidates for elections (article 69)
________ Political parties were previously unprotected by the constitution leading to most politicians running as independents
- President is limited to two terms in office (article 81)
- The president can no longer personally appoint the people who oversee elections in the country nor appoint or dismiss judges at will (article 84.4, 84.8, 84.11, 84.12)
________ These powers are transferred to the newly legitimized All-Belarusian People's Assembly
- All Belarusian People's assembly gains the power to remove the sitting president from power (article 88.)
- The parliament no longer has the power to remove the president (article 97.9)
- The president gets absolute immunity for all crimes committed in office unless removed after impeachment (Article 89)
- The president and all ex-presidents become members for life of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly (article 89.2)
- All ex-presidents also become members for life of the upper house of the parliament (article 91)
- Presidential degrees no longer have the power of law (article 101)
- The constitutional court can veto any law draft as unconstitutional. (article 116.1)

As far as I understand it, the All-Belarusian People's Assembly is something like a combination of the Soviet Politburo and Mussolinis's Chamber of Corporations, uniting both business and political interests in the country under a single organization. Lukashenko is expected to become the chairman as soon as the constitution passes. The presidium of this Assembly becomes the de facto government of Belarus and the Chairman of it's presidium becomes the de facto leader of the country in the same way as the general secretary of the communist party is the de facto leader in many socialist states. It seems to me that while this reform nominally strips the president from a lot of his power and allows genuine multi-party elections for the first time, it's all for nothing as all the meaningful power is granted to the new Assembly. It looks like this is smoke and mirrors to convince some people that Belarus has modernized while retaining power with the ruling elite. As the President is now solely responsible to the new Assembly and the president personally appoints the government, the parliament has little power outside rubber-stamping legislation. If they seek to adopt any law that the Assembly does not approve of, the constitutional court, which they handpick, can veto it at any point.

The Belarusian opposition is not especially happy with these reforms, so Russian troops are not likely to move anywhere until the elections are finished. Once that is done, Belarus will remain securely in the Russian sphere even after Lukashenko is gone. Even if the people would vote an opposition party to power, the Assembly has the power to essentially rule the country on its own.

I support Russia on this one.

I could care less what Russia does to Ukraine.

We have no business pushing this nonsense in era of 15% inflation and urban rot.

We need to back the fuck off and re-asses our fucking priorities. Ive begun to see people begging for groceries at my local Save A lot. Used to be..."hey man i need a few bucks"..now its "my family is hungry"...something ive never seen here in my part of Florida

With the economy being subject to the worst and probably the worst US President in history, this is not a battle to care about. Let Russia and China fight over their land grab and failed Silk road project. China and Russia are failing, Russia is a petro-state that everyone hates and China's economy is going to decimate them.

Let them fight, the Ukraine has been like Taiwan and prepared for years and is heavily armed. They are packing a lot of stingers and Russia's last conflict which was Georgia, an unprepared country. Yes, they have Syria but Georgia is their last direct conflict. The Ukrainians would rather die than surrender to Russia, I don't know why the press thinks they are going to be like a dog and beg. It's like they forgot the Iron Curtain was a thing that decimated these countries.

So its pretty much seems confirmed massive columns of troops from Russia entered donbass 30 minutes ago. Social media fags even spotted the Z markers on the side of the equipment

Shit is going to start lighting up in the next hour or two....Imo

Damn we are close...or could be some sort of resupply

ukraine is a lot better prepared and a lot more militant than taiwan.
the taiwanese do not feel very strongly about getting taken over by china, at least not compared to ukrainians who have a massive amount of resentment and hate for all things russian, built over hundreds of years of oppressive russian rule over the country and people.

It doesn't even need to be qualified. We have no business there.

Apparently Joe Biden and the political establishment have business there, though. They smeared Trump and undermined the nation to protect their paypig.

Biden will fuck this up. He will drag us into this somehow. He has literally fucked everything up he tries to fixed. Wether it be covid, inflation,or anything else. Holy fuck i would rather have Obama or someone else back at the helm right now...anyone with a lick of sense would be better than this old faggot.

i have to give biden some credit here - while he did indeed fuck up the withdrawal from afghanistan, at least he actually went through with it. sure it was messy, but the final result (americas war in afghanistan is over, for good) is good.

this could have went much worse. there were interests pushing to stop the withdrawal, arguing to stay there instead, to send more troops and fight the taliban again. if biden had listened to those guys, the result would have been more war, more money wasted, more soldiers sacrificed on the altar of neocon globohomo nation building. that would have been FAR worse than what ended up happening.

so yeah, what he did wasn't ideal, but it wasn't the absolute worst possible thing to do.

those are there for a counter attack.
they will use rockets to fuck up ukraines army around the contact line.
the heavy stuff is there to counter a possible attack of the ukraine as a response to that.
