We moved to the country, hours away from the capital, and when we had to do business, we stayed in an adjacent city and left as soon as what we needed to do was finalized. To defeat the beast you have to starve the beast, anyway you can. You may have to move out of the country, temporarily. taking your resources with you. I think it's important we appreciate the context of this clip. We had protestors occupying this very same area for weeks, with dance parties, bouncy castles, and cookouts. We had Journoscum and other government cronies poking around, looking for any bullshit "Casus Belli" they could use to consider the protestors "violent" or "terrorists" and justify their physical removal. They failed, all they could manage is a distant photo of some glowie with a Nazi flag. No footage of violence, not even a drunken punch up or something dumb like that.

Police have occupied the area for less than 24 hours and we have footage of them intimidating and getting physical with people fucking IMMEDIATELY. It really is a world of difference. I hope the bug-people of /r/Ottawa are happy with the bed they fucking cheered for.
