I look for no sympathy from anyone. Never had a summer cottage, a boat, and three cross-country vacations every year. Worked, served the country for over 20 years, raised a family. My parents? At the beginning of the book, The Accuser (Satan) asks, "Does Job serve God for nothing?" God has given Job prosperity for his faithfulness, and The Accuser believes Job will turn on God if that prosperity is taken away. Or, that Job will confess to some sin he didn't commit in return for getting his wealth back.

Job maintains his innocence (morally correct) and endures his suffering (morally correct), but accuses God of injustice in punishing an innocent man (not morally correct). God's response to this is "Fuck you, you don't know JACK SHIT about my ways. But you are otherwise, as you say, innocent." Job repents for the sin he DID commit (accusing God of injustice), and his wealth is restored.
