Bridge piercings are finicky and most of them end up rejecting eventually, much like a brow piercing. The skin there is very thin and moves a lot (try just raising your eyebrows and feel how the bridge skin stretches). My best guess is that it started rejecting early or got infected because Luna's hygiene is abysmal, so she had to take it out and the little shadow we see there is just some healing scars.
