There are multiple levels of sad. It’s sad when it’s Goo-specific because we see what a fucking mess she is. She may be malignant but she’s also going to end up getting herself hurt very badly one day - if she doesn’t drink herself to death - and she’s about as dysfunctional as a person can get. No one wants to slug her back or dump her filthy and incoherent at the airport but she leaves people with precious little option. Over the last year she’s broken into outright childish sobs when she fucks around and finds out (shocked and indignant cries of “You hurt me!” come to mind) . It’s hard to know how much is feigned but she’s clearly undergoing some serious mental and physical trauma and even among the useless reprobates of IP2 few want to abandon her wholesale when she’s too drunk to navigate basic social norms. It’s sad when people push you into reactions you’d prefer not to have, especially when you know that the reasonable reaction will get you condemned by your peers because despite the promises of feminist equality, men still really dislike hitting violent women back.
