Problem with that is, if OSINT twitter is to be believed, the ground was muddy and it's been drying over the past couple of days.

Also, this is the current state of all Ukraine reporting:

Why do we have to deal with such autism on jarhead news reporting? I literally can't understand 75% of what these people are even saying. Feels like I'm in a Girls und Panzer-themed discord server, jesus.

like why do you have to scream in all caps instead of just saying "This guy said X and it contradicts Y", like a normal human being would say
You can thank Mike Bloomberg and his goddamn Bloomberg terminal for that. All the messages it sends out are in ALL CAPS and sites like Zero Hedge or FXHedge just copy+paste everything it spits out onto Twitter. And then everyone else copies their style because it makes them look more authoritative or somerhing.

Fuck, they're onto us.

Vlad doesn't want Kiev. He only wants the Russian speaking parts of the country. He knows he can't take the Ukrainian speaking parts because it'll piss off NATO too much and nukes will fly. He also doesn't want the Ukranian parts because he knows how expensive it is to invade a country populated by people who don't want your military to occupy their land.
Biden's secret money vaults will be fine. I don't know what popping off would entail for you but it's probably going to be some low level shit. On a scale of 0 to 10 with 0 being world peace and 10 being world war, this will probably be a 3.
From what I understand the goal originally in 2014 was these following Russian majority cities:
Kharkiv (2nd largest city in Ukraine, massive military production facilities)
Zaporizhzhia (overland access to Crimea and complete control of the Azov sea)
Odessa (third largest city, and black sea outlet to Transnistria, and only major Ukrainian port)

They did hold Mariupol, the main port of the Donbsss, temporarily.

There's also the massive shipyard and turbine plant at Mykolaiv which might be worth taking

I'm honestly confused by what Russia intends to do here. Invasion seems ridiculous considering the moment of opportunity has passed weeks ago and everyone is ready and waiting for the kick-off. On the other hand, the build-up does seem to be a bit more serious that before. And this is further muddied by glowies crying wolf since, like, fucking November of last year.

Problem with the "Russian-speaking parts" is that people keep mistaking it for "parts populated by ethnic Russians" and/or "parts that like and want to join Russia". That's not necessary the case. There's a hell of a lot of people in ex-Soviet states that are not Russian that are more comfortable speaking Russian than their native language, that does not mean they are all that fond of Russia - Georgia, for example. Ukraine is an especially interesting example because before 2014, most Ukrainians were generally neutral to positive about Russia - since then Ukrainian nationalism has gone into overdrive, to the extent that even those who formerly spoke more Russian are now making a concerted effort to speak more Ukrainian.

Additionally the Russian government does not actually give a fuck about ethnic Russians outside of Russia, they are only useful as a tool to exert influence. You can see how "friendly" Russians are towards their brethren from Donbas after the recent evacuation. Suffice to say, they are about as enthusiastic about the new arrivals as conservative French people would be about the prospect of more African and Arab migrants. Especially since in Soviet times, Luhansk and Donetsk were both known as crime-ridden shitholes and after 2014 with people fleeing the place, the ones left are generally of the decidedly less savory variety.

**ahem**
Has anyone noticed that Hillary and her minions have been spoling for trouble with Russia for a decade. The big boogie man is Putin. Is there any possibility that Americans are not seeing all that's happening.
Do most Americans even know about Eastern Ukraine

PS
Our democracy was nearly lost to a schizophrenic in face paint and a hat with horns and Hunter Biden is the smartest man I know
