Meanwhile, more vids posted that Donetsk is still getting shelled right now, i.e. tomorrow or this eve we may see more "atrocities" ... so this recognition may have been only the first step, not a cliffhanger of the first season.

This is a little thing I noticed in the video of Putin signing the recognitions, and it struck me as strange - if Putin is right handed, then why does he wear his watch on that hand? Is that a habit of his?

On another note, Ukrainian side is preparing to make their own announcement. Right now РНБО (council of national security or what ever the fuck it is) is helding a briefing. They promiced to announce results of the briefing two hours ago, but it seems it's steel going. Ol' Joe called Zelensky to discuss something, so is PM Johnson, right after Putin's speech. What is going on?

I am a rightie who wears my watch on my right hand. My left is good at a few specific things, I have no idea why watch-putting-on is one of those things but it is where the watch feels most natural.

The West still labors under the delusion of the "end of history", that this is it, the maps have been drawn and it's stability from now to infinity. At least in the places that actually matter.
Sadly the world doesn't work that way, you can't just freeze the world in a state where you like the way it is. You can't kill and steal your way to the top and then expect others to stop using those tactics just because you want them to.

War is the past, the present, and the future of humanity. We haven't reached some "new level" where this ceases to be true and never will.
