Yeah, "transmisogyny" is a super unrealistic concern. The set of people who see a dude in a dress, recognize that they're aping being a woman, and then want to treat them like shit because they hate women (and somehow include trannies in "women") is basically the null set.

When trannies are mistreated specifically because they're trannies, it's because the person in question is being homophobic. They believe they're mocking a gay man, not a woman who happened to be born with a penis.

It's a silly concept.

Although all that being said, hate crimes against trannies are pretty rare. By the numbers, I'm not even convinced they're in all that much danger in the men's room. Maybe here and there, but I think it's uncommon.

I was looking at information on this exposition when I found a video featuring Grayson Perry (I'm too much of a retard to link it here). If you don't know him, he's a British artist that likes to cross-dress in public.

I think going in the men's room does present a heightened chance of feeling uncomfortable, whether from being leered at by a weirdo or whatever.
