hohoho if you think Western leaders care about their citizens, you're gravely mistaken.
But they care about their chances being elected, ne? If you engage into some odd and autistic quest that costs you a cople of billions and perchaps a thousand of lifes of your people your chances (and your party's chances) to be elected become kinda small. Pootin doesn't have such a problem, the elections were totally highjaked multiple times and they will be stolen again, thanks to "electonic vote" which just adds the nessessary amount of votes to the right candidates.

Meanwhile my fav character in this show potato king Luka states that he deeply respects the decision of Russia and LDNR but doesn't mention that he recognises it too which is LOL, taking into account how much money he receives from the Russian tsar. Apparently he just waits for another couple of millions USD (or another revolution attempt in Minsk).

elections are meaningless when all viable candidates support the same positions. nobody has to worry about being punished by voters for a political decision when all political 'competitors' supported the same decision as well, so the voter literally has no choice. even more so when mass media is in on it too and gets dissenters silenced, shamed, and ostracized.
this is part of the reason why democracy is such a meme. technically you get to "choose" your leader, except the guys you can choose from all have the same political positions and support the same long term agenda, all their bickering and infighting is just for show, to keep up appearances, to keep people fooled, and if you even try to argue against those position you are turned into a social pariah and your personal life goes to shit.

Orban possibly not being the vetoing wild card? Danube freezes over.

Russian troops are staying in Belarus (just announced it yesterday) and there will be voting a bit later to adjust their constitution while Russian peacekeepers make sure that no protests take place. This means they will de facto annex Belarus.

Meanwhile Russia will fortify it's positions in Ukraine, stall with "diplomacy" and the next step is to regain full control of Lugansk and Donetsk administrative areas. Duma already put out the feelers out to see West reaction to this, basically it reneges the statement earlier that DNRLNR will be accepted in their present borders.

Putin also put out another feeler about Ukraine being a country of questionable statehood, i.e. not really a country and not legitimate gov.

The long term feelers are about surrounding states, like Baltics, Poland. Hungary is Belarus2, until they realize it.

Stingy man pays twice. EU learned it with Hitler. Ukrainians learned it in 2014. No one wants to fight, but confrontation is coming. You can pay some now, or you'll pay more later.

This principle goes for everything, including burgers and leafs. If you don't correct injustice now, you'll pay for it later 2-3-100x, in blood. If not you, your children will. Liberty tree only takes blood as payment. Turn slave or turn freeman for a fee.

Oh nooo, not our faggoterinos...
Seriously, this is one of the most pathetic attempt at propaganda from the US.
'Member when the US "intelligence" said that Russia had a list of american targets in Afghanistan and it turned out to be total bullshit?
My boomer parents, otherwise your basic bitch Trump boomers, fell for it hook line and sinker. They seem to think Russian police beat gay people regularly and already have camps for them. Plus mom is trans sympathetic purely from I am Jazz and psychic mediums on facebook talking about reincarnation. Apparently pointing out what people themselves post on social media is stalking plus that could just be someone "trolling their internet"

while you are right in principle, i do not think that active war is the correct play for america (or europe) at this point.

in my opinion, the correct play would be total economic crackdown and isolation against russia. like, completely seal europes eastern border from estonia to bulgaria, iron curtain style. nobody crosses, no goods, no people, absolutely nothing. close all ports to all russian shipping. further, consider blanket banning all russian IP ranges from all american and european internet infrastructure, like a reverse chinese firewall if you will. then take it one step further, tell all foreign nations that it's a complete "us or them" situation. as in, you either trade with russia, or with usa+europe. if you don't lock them out, we lock you out. basically, complete and utter boycott of the entire russian economy. also freeze and seize any russian assets you can get your hold of.
with all this in place, fortify the borders hard, and wait it out. yes it will hurt your own economy, but it will bring russia to the brink of actual collapse within months.

but, i think that neither the american leadership nor the european leadership has the balls to take drastic measures like this, so what will happen will probably just be thinly veiled appeasement under the guise of minor sanctions, and vlad gets to do as he pleases.

Orban isn't a wild card. He is a master of "ask for the moon, and see what he can make of it" type of politics. If he can make Ukraine give a few concessions on the local hungarians there, he will, unless Papa Putin steps on him.

They are called "bydlo" btw. It's a Polish word that stands for "cattle".
Gotta herd the niggercattle.
in Russia's case that's slavcattle, which is way, way worse and chaotic than any niggercattle if got disturbed.

Realistically we're freaking out about what has been business as usual for the ridiculous murder and mayhem carousel that is eastern europe for the last 2 millennia. They literally cannot help themselves, if they go more than a decade without oppressing another slav minority they start to fall apart.

Not 100% positive but this person is saying that Russian forces shelled a town in the Luhansk region to start a false flag narrative, A shell hit a transformer there.

no, it's not a false flag attack on their own territory. they're shelling a ukrainian-controlled town from nearby separatist-controlled territory.
