China claiming Taiwan leads to more trade war complications, which may mean little Jimmy won't get his Nvidia RTX 4000 in time for Christmas and we can't have that.

Taiwan is just cheap chink labor with low probability of unionization and manufacturing facilities.

15 years ago i worked in chip manufacturing at a place called reptron. Its dirty work that really isnt allowed for environment reasons. Most chip plants in the USA are under constant siege from the EPA
