Boogie / Boogie2988 / "Francis" / Steven Jason Williams - Fat, Rapidly Declining Divorced "Nice Guy" Middle-Aged Youtuber, Former Edgy Porn Blogger, lied about having cancer and being molested. Cohost of fake drama show "Lolcow Live (LCL)". Just WILL NOT die.

Boogie, who resolved not to engage with critics, is now asking his Twitter audience to tweet at him every negative rumor they've heard about him. It's going exactly as well as you'd think it would.

So far he's:
-Said that when his wife said that he didn't "beat" her that it actually covered mental and verbal abuse too. Also she wouldn't let that happen because she's a classic redhead rofl!
-Said that he only dated off Seeking once (Lucy) and that another girl he dated he met through a friend but people totally misunderstood because she just happened to have an old unused Seeking profile that she definitely never used.
-ignored every person that asked him why his wife signed a non-disparage agreement.

Honestly the responses he has gotten from his request have barely scratched the surface of the guy's bad acts, and he's already making a fool of himself.

He also says when his legal troubles are over, he's going to make a big video and that he "has all the receipts". I can't wait to see the spin on that one.

He still thinks playing in the mud with his detractors is going to clear his name. Go offline, Steven. Use your savings to earn a basic qualification for one of the many fields that is starving for workers right now. They'd probably even take someone as useless as you if you could spin your gigantic resume gap positively as self employment. Get a job and go offline. You have so many ways to a better and happier life available to you. But you're going to do things the way you always have, taking the path of greatest ease and misery.

It’s common knowledge that boogie had access to her socials and would reply to himself from her account. It’s quite telling that the way she interacts online (the way she types) isn’t the same as 2019 as well as her lack of recent activity. That suggests he had access but it’s been reneged at some point.

They say the higher they rise the harder they fall. Which is interesting because boogie’s highs and lows aren’t “high” at all considering he hasn’t had any progression in his life compared to the average person. There are definitely worse people than boogie the thing that makes boogie so unlikeable is his complete lack of agency combined with a severe victim falsehood . He has this to enable and justify himself to try and manipulate others. There are other faculties of him that I find interesting he acts as a sponge for talking points but will never actually soak them up etc etc.

The whole premise of Boogie asking for people to present "rumors" they have heard is a pointless exercise for the audience anyway. Anyone who has followed Boogie for a few years can remember him attempting to take on the samandtolki megathread, bullet by bullet. It was weak, he just spent the time lying and deflecting and nothing really came of it and he certainly didn't come out of it looking any better. This is basically an exercise for Boogie to look at the last few years and say "look dude, I already spoke to all of this!" when taken to task in the future.

I don't actually know a lot of widespread rumors about Boogie. Here's one: when he went to a local BLM protest, he was chased out by people who recognized him as the guy who said "that's a lot of money, for a black person" on stream. Here's another that's hard to verify: someone who claimed to know Boogie IRL before he was famous claimed that during Boogie's only real job (working at a card game store) he'd take money from the cash registers and put it into his pockets because "he has to get paid".

My point is, most posts and analysis of Boogie are NOT rumors. It's usually literally taking something Boogie has done or said, and pointed out inconsistencies and lies. It's a fact that Boogie has told various differing stories of his childhood abuse. It's a fact that Boogie has said he was cutting himself during his depression but despite revealing 90% of his skin to his audience, cut scars are strangely absent. It's a fact that Dez signed a non-disparage clause. There's no need for him to dispel rumors here. These are facts.

All he can do to confront facts is spin the facts, and that's why the original head mod of his "hate sub" said an AMA was worthless. Because Boogie would just spin everything. And it's still true today. He doesn't want to confront rumors, he wants to spin inconvenient truths.

I don't think it'd be that hard to spin all the time to look good. He's worked personally with the Director of Programming at Microsoft, Dallas Page of DDP yoga, and bunch of other companies to help market and promote their products. Really upsell the idea that a bunch of these companies would come to him to help sell their shit.
Honestly Melon should look into getting into marketing if he was smart. But he's not.

I fully admit that, in the early 2000’s, when the Internet was becoming mainstream along with the rise of social media I legitimately thought it would be a good thing since it would expose us to all the creatives who couldn’t get past the gatekeepers.

In 2022, I’m thinking that maybe the reason we rarely saw Boogie types on TV is because the gatekeepers knew these freaks would become a liability. The beauty of YouTube is it’s “Broadcast yourself” policy lets us all see, first-hand, what happens when you let the inmates run the asylum and their self destructive behaviors being broadcast in real time have been far more entertaining than I could have imagined.

Like, you sell me a 24/7 stream of Boogie or DSP’s house, like the Big Brother house and I’d become a hermit, attached at the hip to the stream to see Boogie abuse his prostitutes in real time or watch DSP play WWE Champions and drink gin untll 2AM
