I've been trying to dig more into the Mohawk situation but I've never done any sort of research on bands or territories and holy fuck is it confusing.
All the govt websites are garbage lol (or I'm just stupid)
I'm just trying to narrow down which Mohawk territory it is. I had assumed Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory as that's where Candy is from, but I can't really find a concrete connection yet
That being said I have some KAHNTENT
TransSplendor is with the western convoy (the BC/prairie dudes) and he took a photo with this woman:

You'll recognize her from the
video I posted yesterday:

And then I realized I remembered her from a video I had seen earlier:

Her name is Tracy (surname unknown) and Anishinaabe, unsure if she's there by herself or with others, still cool
And I discovered the chief in the above video isn't Mohawk which explains why I was struggling to find info about him lol.
His name is JD Anderson and he's a hereditary chief from Manitoba.

He seems like an interesting guy (super long interview from October):

He says in this video that his title "gives him the right to approach British monarchy on a sovereign nation basis and inform them of what is happening here in Canada and with the people, or any of their discontent" which is VERY interesting, but probably doesn't mean much cause the monarchy sucks
Two native women in Ottawa discuss going to the protests:

One of the women was in residential schools so it's extremely interesting to hear her perspective.
Interview with Candy (TRAMPLED LADY):

She brings up such a good point that the guy in the brown jacket hasn't been identified.
edit: note she's with Tracy and Chief JD Anderson there (he's holding the uh...speaking feathers on the left, unsure of the term)
Also this bonus strangeness:
