If shes actually pushing or pressuring a patient to get a certain procedure done she is committing an ethical violation. Thats a huge no no. She can suggest or recommend, legally no more than that. If she is crossing ethical lines in that regard it'll show up in her surgical history. It isn't normal for there to be that many surgeries of this kind that don't involve reattaching the nipples. Sooner or later there would be an audit of her practice, which happens to every doctor periodically to look for any questionable behavior regarding prescriptions, medical procedures and such to ensure they aren't doing anything questionable, and this kind of history would get flagged eventually

That said, it probably is technically illegal to make people look like animals, more often than not from a common sense standpoint. Medical procedures like this aren't supposed to be carried out on people who are not of sound mind and one could argue the very act of wanting to be surgically altered to look like an animal is not something a sane and rational person of sound mind would do in the first place. At a minimum no ethical surgeon would have any part of it, and anyone who is willing to do so should be raising all kinds of red flags about what they've been doing. Chances are if they're doing one kind of unethical procedure there are many more they've done. At a bare minimum they should be looking real hard at the prescription history of such doctors

I've read through much of this thread, and I'm all but convinced that it's a test to see how much horror we can stand before we get MOTI. No matter how bizarre an Lolcow is, if they dont harm anyone, or if they hurt only themselves, it's easy to remain calm and appreciate them for the milk that they give. Even if I can play devil's advocate for a moment and pretend that there's a genuine reason to permanently reduce the size of a girl's breasts so that they resemble a guy's chest and even if somehow you can convince me that none of these young women are going through a phase and that they will still want to look like and live as men for the rest of their lives...I would think at the very least they would want to appear as close to normal as possible, regardless of gender. And if they are going to live as guys they might want to take off their shirts without being stared at like freaks.

I hope someone, somewhere realizes horribly wrong this is and stops this woman, not only from doing further surgeries, but from practing medicine of any kind, anywhere.

I am 100% not the only person on Earth who has thought of this but I am really curious if she has a past history of harming animals. It may be likely, it may not be. But sometimes with some people you see patterns in their upbringing/childhood that lead into what they currently are today. I am no expert in the hiring practices of medical professionals, but I am acquainted irl with this person who oversees the team that interviews people at a local hospital. This person is a professional psychologist and we got into a discussion of practices used in an interview process and in a lot of instances of candidates being interviewed, they are asked a lot of questions related to MBTI to gauge thought processes and questions regarding your personal mental health in a way that you don't actually realize what they're actually asking you. This is done because generally, no hospital or practice with an ounce of intelligence and integrity wants an unstable lunatic to be employed there because not only is it an insurance liability, it's a liability to patients.

This doesn't mean that she is mentally unstable, but she might be and that's concerning.

I've never been asked for them, but about a month or two back, a friend told me about a job she'd recently started where everyone can use their "preferred pronouns" in their email signatures. So at the end of the email it would have the person's name, then (She/her) (They/them) (He/him) etc., followed by their job title.
It's not mandatory and she said didn't do it, but apparently quite a few people at the organization where she works do. I forgot to ask her if stuff like , xe/xer, zher/zhem and are also options.

It's like all the rage now to include your gender, sexuality, and pronouns in a "professional" work environment. Why? I wish I could tell you. It only started happening like two or three years ago I think?

Am girl & while I don't wear make up I look obviously feminine for context. Its all been rather recent (Before/Around Christmas time) but I fear its getting more frequent.
The first time was in my own house by a guest who was there to take a look at a leak in the roof. In their defense I do wear mens tracksuit pants as lounge wear as its usually made of thicker materials.
The second time was by a cashier in a store who at first called me a she and then back pedaled and asked me with a Cheshire cat-esque grin what my pronouns were before continuing, I just answered and awkwardly laughed it off but it was still fucking weird.

Yep. Any surgery which requires major cutting is going to cause some residual pain and numbness somewhere. I've had three surgeries in different places, and in some places there's just this numb bit that never recovers, and in others there's an occasional fucking zinger like I'm getting tazed. I can sit here and sense the scars grumbling int the background, even 15 years later.

I got a smallish boob lump out years back. It was not the cancer. Given where it was, there were a fair amount of nerves damaged cutting it out.
The pain of the ones connected to the nip regrowing was literally like electric shocks. I would be sitting silently in tears at work as it would just zap for hours.
Double mastectomy hurts; ask anyone who had it done.

Before the non-binary fad, nipple removal was something that was done in extreme body modification circles. It was a very underground practice, like most of those procedures, done without anaesthesia and either DIY or by people who weren't doctors who knew they had to keep a low profile or they could be arrested, and some of them were. Arguably that was still better than what Sneed is doing because the people in that scene were generally pretty open about being weirdos and ubercoomers and they were fully aware of the risks they were taking to live out their fantasies.

A lot of those people who were injecting ink into their eyeballs so they wouldn't look human or splitting their genitals in half to expose more nerves 10-15 years ago are now trooning out, funny that.
