Trudy got his emergency powers in the short term, but how he used them caused an immediate collapse in confidence in the big banks. Realizing that if Trudeau was continued to act unopposed they were going to get cornholed, the banks leaned on the Senate, effectively demanding that if they didn't block Trudy from getting his way, Canada was looking at a massive financial crisis.Someone please explain this to me because my understanding of events seems to retarded to be correct.
>Trudy enacted EA
>Trudy started utilizing EA powers to curb stomp protestors and freeze bank accounts
>Parliament approves EA
>Senate debates EA
>Trudy says "lol jk don'nt need EA anymore"
So Trudy can choose to give and revoke these power to himself on a whim and they automatically go into effect until Parliament/Senate say no? What kind of a fucking circus is this shit. Taking it back means nothing if all he has to do is flip a switch to give himself the powers again, he still absolutely has them. Is this how the Canadian government is meant to work or is Trudy just blatantly breaking process and no one cares?
Trudy, realizing he was never going to get the senate to approve of making him dictator for life in the face of a massive financial collapse in Canada, retreated to the cuck shed.
He did this for the exact same reason Biden does similar with putting through shit he knows is going to get slapped down from orbit by the courts, he'll be able to do it short-term and that's really all he cares about.
