This is the opposite situation to Canada. Others have already said that there's not much, if anything mandate related for the truckers to protest against.

So, what is the end state for the US truckers? As far as I can, there is none.

What would this achieve? Nothing at best, and give ammo to the left at worst.

At best they should’ve just said that it’s a temporary convoy to show solidarity with the Canadians, and that they have no intention of staying past the weekend.

It's definitely at least slightly incadescent but it will be funny to watch.
 
It’s far more hilarious that people are talking more about truckers heading to honk and protest at Washington D.C. than actually talk about Joe Biden’s State of The Union Address.

Outside of social and establishment media, I honestly have not seen anyone talk about how “interested” they are to listen to Joe Biden talk.

I'm hearing conflicting info on what the target of this protest is. Is it to go into DC and protest or is it to paralyze I-495 around DC?

If it's the former God speed. If it's the latter we are going to have issues. Virginia's new governor is in a delicate position and that sort of disruption would be a catastrophe for the State economy. Ditto for Maryland.. Biden won't have to do anything because the VA national guard may be forced to step in independent of any federal action, since 495 is actually not in the Federal capital.

VA in particular has very strict rules regarding use of the interstates and commercial vehicles. Going too slow on them is a crime. Commercial vehicles in the left lane is a crime. Being on foot on them is a crime. Stopping on them is a crime.

I wish they didn't say where they're going or what they're planning. At least make the glowies chase fake leads, because unlike the leaf glowies the burger glowies are already super experienced with dealing with protests (that government/elites don't support).
That said, best of luck to them.
