There's not much time left before the tesla fanboys come in and kill me, but this is important information the world needs to know: Elon Musk started the war to empower Tesla shills by driving up the cost of petrol. This is all a grand scheme to force the middle class to adopt highly-combustible electric vehicles en masse.

I don't think someone, even a lunatic, would mobilize his entire military and invade a country in 2022 for prestige.

This is why I'm so hesitant about this whole thing; I get the feeling we plebs don't "get" the whole story here.
You underestimate the level of rationalization somebody can concoct to justify starting a war of conquest.

I've thought from the beginning Biden was never going to deploy troops to Ukraine so I never got all the I'M NOT DYING FOR GLOBOHOMO histrionics, it was never seriously on the table. I think the administration actually thought Putin wasn't going to blitz Ukraine so they played up all the Russian Invasion hype thinking it'd make them look like amazing peacekeepers if Russia didn't invade and they could claim they stopped an imminent war, except the Russians did invade and now they all look like morons on the world stage again.

I don't give a fuck about Ukraine. This is entirely Biden's fault by agitating Russia by wanting Ukraine to join NATO and ignoring Russia's historical insecurity about defending its borders. Nobody gives a shit about Ukraine or standing up to Russia, an entirely manufactured enemy. Which the West Drove right into a Russian-Sino alliance. This is the direct action of the United States and the West trying to be moral superiors and needing manufactured enemies to distract from terrible domestic conditions.

Biden was and is weak, which is why Putin knew he could do this. A major international incident is occurring over a supposed 'major' enemy and Biden will address it 'tomorrow'. The leader of the United States army has dementia and can't operate after nap time. lol if anyone thinks this will lead to WWIII. The United States currently has no active executive branch, meaning the military cannot act. We haven't had a functioning executive since Biden was fucking elected. He shits himself and mumbles and everyone tries to work around him. The only reason he hasn't been 25th'd out is Harris is a fucking disaster.

Massive inflation, $5 gas, awful rent, increasing debt, lack of wages, trillions stolen from the population during the pandemic....holy shit, who cares? This was entirely done to prop up Biden's admin by making him look 'tough' but instead he goes to bed as soon as it starts. His weakness will be incredibly obvious and embolden all of our enemies. We have no commander-in-chief and a possible multi-nation invasion happening right the fuck now. Everyone is watching, its a fucking EMBARASSMENT. Biden is not coherent enough to be in charge.

NATO won't do fucking shit. Who has the proper army to do anything besides the US? Germany? Fucking lol. France possibly, maybe the Baltics, but they all fucking hate each other and I don't see them running in to save Ukraine. Ukraine was a very obvious bluff by Biden to 'look tough' and 'competent' at an administration that is completely unpopular and is a governing disaster. Except there's absolutely no nationalism and no desire to go to war with Russia, just like there was no desire to go to war with Syria under Obama. The tolerance of the American people to play 'world police' has grown very, very thin.

Frankly, I don't care. The domestic agenda is the most important and everyone is getting fucked. I have no interest in concerning myself with a problem a dementia patient created in order to 'look tough'. Its incredibly pathetic, with Biden drooling all over himself unable to do a fucking thing. Without the Commander in Chief, nothing happens.
Don't forget, when you get right down to it, his leading generals are all careerist COWARDS who have kept as far away from combat as they possibly could.

Including a commanding general who has been in since 1980 and has NO theater awards beyond combat tourism.

Our Commander in Chief is a dementia ridden retard who was in bed by 2145 EST and couldn't be assed to respond and who's Twitter is being ran by his wife.

Our commanding generals have no experience and are moral cowards who have avoided combat deployments.

Our military has spent the last several years on witch hunts for white supremacists and making DIVERSITY AND EQUITY their priority instead of rearming, refitting, and retraining.

Our military is woefully out of shape and at critical force levels in multiple MOS's and critical MOS's have massive retention problems.

Our equipment is in dire need of replacement and maintenance, but yay, your unit got a civilian diversity officer!

A week is looking optimistic at this rate. It's probably going to be over in under a day.
"It will be the Seven-Hour War all over again. Except this time we won't last seven minutes."

So, what exactly is Putin's endgame with this?

Rhetoric? He's spoken about Ukraine being a part of Russia a lot. Having a buffer state and preventing NATO from expanding to Russia's doorstep.

Think it has something to do with the economy? Destabilize the region, install a puppet government, have East and West Ukraine fight it out and profit?

Legacy?

I feel like I can believe him saying he doesn't want to occupy Ukraine

I just don't quite get it. By all accounts this will most likely be bad for Russia (and the world)

Regardless, there was very very little resistance. YOu guys think that is more due to the nature and precision of the attack or something along the lines of the military and locale not supporting the government?
Well for one thing it puts a damper on American politician money laundering operations.

Smaller broader to defend would be the military goal, that fact Russians see themselves as the master and defender of all the slavs means all the slav clay is Russian clay to them.

Childless women, maybe.

Some of us have sons. Our skin in the game is our flesh and blood; the gold stars in the windows are not something we want to bring back.
Don't childless women (young I mean) have the potential to have children though? lol
It's all retarded tho, no one in north america should be drafted to fight overseas wars anymore, not our problem

What do you wanna bet Putin is gonna be like: "You wanted to get into NATO, see how useless it is"
Putin either wants to rebuild the Soviet Union, and/or this is the goal.

"You want to join NATO? Watch as they do nothing to save you."
