This is a country that has a memorial to a Waffen SS unit which was predominately made up of ethnically Ukrainian volunteers.

If anyone has an axe to grind with the Russians it would be them, one would think so anyway
Given what Stalin put them through, can you really blame them for signing up for whoever the fuck promised to take him down?

like I said many before Putin is off his rocker and one foot in the grave, and he made specific threat about using nukes.

what you need to know is that Patrushev wrote a whole dissertation on use of tactical nukes for small scale ops. Not that any of you sperging nonse like little girls would know who he is.

Shit may get spicy real fast and most of you kiddos never lived to see unbelievable things come true. You just may live in such interesting times.

America needs to take this while Putin is busy.

No way. The Baltic states are extremely vulnerable. If shit ever pops off up there, the Russians will just close the Suwalki Gap and the Baltics will collapse, along with any NATO forces in there. Some say NATO plans in the event of a Russia war are basically to let the Baltics fall, and maybe get them back later if/when the whole front moves to open them back up. In a military sense, they're basically indefensible.

Bullshit like this for the Baltics is a complete joke, an empty gesture:
Nato to announce 4,000-strong rapid reaction force to counter Russian threat
Yeah it's just stupid... they're members of NATO, don't need to waste soldiers there when attacking them means a war with NATO whether other NATO country soldiers are there or not

Any Red Storm Rising shit today would be can the Polish Army and European NATO soldiers hold off the Russians until the US got its full strength across the Atlantic. They probably could tbh, the Russian Army is strong but it isn't strong enough to go rolling into Germany in a few weeks and Russia doesn't have the strength for a conventional full-scale war that lasts months or over a year or even longer. No matter how good they are beating up other, weaker, Slavs, they don't have the economy to fight such a war

The borders have nothing to do with it. Russia literally borders the US in the east and the Baltic states are an even easier route to go through to invade. It has to do with resources and demographics first and foremost.
I wonder what all those ridges are? Our troops are ready for tundra, right?

No matter what country you are born into there is a gay agenda you are tied too. Putin is an angel he din du nuffin' Putin's agenda is so good I'm gonna go and Fight for them so later I can find out that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. At some point we are going to have to engage in conflict with the Ruskies and Chins it could be this year, could be 50 years from now. Why not just capitulate now to them and give them advantages because we feel sympathetic to them or that they are morally in the right. Russia, China and their comrades want you completely beaten into submission if they could have it their way.
stfu you wouldn't dare go over there to fight them since you'd be ass raped by a pack of Russians before you racked a round if you faced a battalion of those goons.

I think it's the wrong season to invade Taiwan. The rough seas are not conducive to landings this time of year.
As somebody here already mentioned it would likely be an invasion by air, naval invasions take too much planning and would give us forewarning of the invasion.
