Clippers on suicide watch

Let’s be real, she made them millions. They would ban her for no reason. And besides the Kore stuff it’s unlikely anything we know is part of it.
My speculation is since she and mafu were/are dating she might’ve felt comfortable sharing information she shouldn’t have.
Ding ding ding, added bold for emphasis.
Even a pretty incompetent company wouldn't jettison their top moneymaker over a few leaked DMs.

That leaves two options: either they're stunningly incompetent on a level beyond anything they've demonstrated to date, or, Rushia fucked up something bigger that we don't know about.
The latter is certainly more plausible, but sadly with Cover's history I can't completely rule out the former either lmao.
The statement they put out makes them look pretty bad tbh, but if their hand was forced then it may have been the best they could do.

So total rrat speculation here, but wonder if when talking to Kore, she maybe talked about the other Holomems and their personal lives as well? "They all have boyfriends, so it isn't a big deal" kind of thing?
If we're getting into rrats already, then... yeah, doing something (anything) to put the other holomems' identities at risk would certainly explain both Cover's reaction, and the lukewarm reactions of her genmates.

FWIW, in the past I said something like: she played with fire and got burned. But so far, even if she caused the situation, that doesn't necessarily mean she deserved 100% of how far it's gone, so I do feel bad for her and I hope she comes out of it alright.
Unless she did actually put anyone else at risk, in which case fuck her and the twink she rode in on.

To be completely transparent, I left out the three Homo graduates because I was not around to witness their genmates’ reactions so including them would only muddy up my analysis:Kaoru announced his Vtuber persona irl gambling on beyblades, that one guy didn’t think the Homo hustle was worth it and quit to stream on his roommate account, and Kira was a medical graduation. To my knowledge, the fan reaction was shock and confusion to Kaoru, and resignation to Kira.
I'll take a minute to fill you in. The reaction to kaoru wasn't big, mostly just Oga trying to talk to fans about it for Kaoru. Roberu didn't get too involved, Winning Son just kept going.

Imagine keeping someone within the company that YOU ALREADY KNOW has leaked confidential information and is aware that you are terminating their contract

They had to cut her off immediately, otherwise, we don't know what else she could have shared or done.
putting her on a break doesn't mean she still has access, you can escort someone out the building but still keep officially employed till the end of the month or longer. she can still share any information and knowledge she already has. this is on the same level as "should have used a private discord", because that matters to the notification...

I dont think its that easy tho their option were either

Fire her now but withhold the announcement: this would be hella sus and people would probably figure it out leading to a bigger shitstorm

Not fire her until after Holfest: again it would be hard to hide the fact you were going to fire her and most people would consider a massive duck move to make everyone think everthing is fine just to pull a fast one on both Rushia and the fans

Fire her now and announce it: let's them control the situation and give them the most buffer time to dmg control until holofest
depends on the length of the break. don't forget the whole "if I don't stream every day people will forget about me" believe they have. after some time people will also make peace with it long before it's officially announced, where it's nothing more than a formality (wasn't there some niji who is technically still on a 2 year break?)
it's also a difference of having it possibly blow up even harder and get dragged into holofes, or overshadowed by the high everyone has afterwards. people still talk about aloe, and kson recently complained that too many people still associated her too much with a certain orange dragon. how would you damage control this without make the fans seethe even harder who already think cover did their oshi dirty, justified or not? that's like asking to get kyoani'd.

and ffs I just read "Rushia's declaration of war was signed on February 24th in their timezone" when opening a new page...

Check the last 10 pages of this thread. You'll find plenty of different examples of people being sad about normal graduations without "quitting their job for it".
I was referring to the moving forward 'stiff upper-lip' / 'the show must go on' style of response that she had, which is similar to pretty much every other response to this. Expressing regret before communicating a desire to move forward together. Calli's response seems to be the only one so far which is wholly negative, the others generally show more solidarity with the corp.

I stand by there not being much info to glean from that response, people grieve differently and Flare seems the type to do that privately. Didn't she say in that same interview that she cried after Among Us or something like that? Doesn't really match the image of her discarding Rushia without a second glance.

The reactions of the other Holos to this (Sans EN, who I bet will be much more teary) pretty-much seal the deal with me. There were much bigger issues beneath this, and the rest of the crew seem to just want to quietly forget about the entire thing.

Kinda fucked up, but that would be a pretty good barometer for who's to blame between Cover or Rushia.

Potential rrat: didn't kson mention recently that she went to go cheer up a friend?
Lots of them were trying to cheer her up but at that time they might not have known much info and it was still just "people being unreasonable mad at her over a discord message popping up" so I wouldn't read too much into anything from a few days ago

That's exactly my point: she's not the type to discard a colleague, so if she did, Rushia must have done something much more serious than it would appear from our perspective.

I've not followed Flare much but she always seemed on the lower end of the parasocial scale from the clips I've seen? That's my main reason for thinking it's plausible that she just doesn't want to go into this stuff with her community during streams and this is her way of discouraging that. She is already going to get countless questions / superchats about this and if she seemed sad that would only encourage people to 'comfort' her.
