I think we are vastly overestimating how much the girls like each other. At the end of the day it's a job. No way 20+ girls working together can all be on good terms. I'm sure some are gonna take the news badly, some are gonna be secretly celebrating, others handling it professionally, etc. The fact one of her supposed closet associate took it so well and bascially trying to just hide it under the rug says Rushia probably revealed something that potentially put other members jobs at risk and made them agree more with Cover than with their own friend. I mean you're making thousands every stream can't have a friend fucking that up.

Even a pretty incompetent company wouldn't jettison their top moneymaker over a few leaked DMs.

That leaves two options: either they're stunningly incompetent on a level beyond anything they've demonstrated to date, or, Rushia fucked up something bigger that we don't know about.
The latter is certainly more plausible, but sadly with Cover's history I can't completely rule out the former either lmao.
The statement they put out makes them look pretty bad tbh, but if their hand was forced then it may have been the best they could do.


If we're getting into rrats already, then... yeah, doing something (anything) to put the other holomems' identities at risk would certainly explain both Cover's reaction, and the lukewarm reactions of her genmates.

FWIW, in the past I said something like: she played with fire and got burned. But so far, even if she caused the situation, that doesn't necessarily mean she deserved 100% of how far it's gone, so I do feel bad for her and I hope she comes out of it alright.

From what I can tell, Cover's history only says they have a hard time helping talents with external issues. As far as firings and graduations though, only one other talent has been fired, and the graduations were the choice of the talent, not Cover.
Cover clearly would rather not fire anyone for anything unless they did something truly irreprehensible.

So a lot of these reactions (Calli and kinda Polka notwithstanding) are more about reassuring fans they're not going anywhere rather than addressing Rushia's situation. Of course, I don't think any of them wants to be next in line by implying they disagree with Cover's decision, but c'mon, surely some words of support for Rushia are not disallowed, unless they don't feel like giving them?

Who do you think will fill the GFE power vacuum left, anyways?

I mean, you can still be friends with someone while letting them know they fucked up badly. I agree, not everyone knows each other super well or is big mega friends, but it doesn't need to be the other way around where they must despise each other, ya know? I'm not saying that you're saying that either, I guess what I'm saying is to not vastly underestimate how much they care about each other.

Why would Cover be ok with their talent giving support to someone they had to fire for sharing company secrets?
That's saying you approve of her action.
