General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

The one time Gura actually uses twitter and she says this, could you imagine

Rushia was made an example of. dosent matter how big you are, if you bring dishonor to the company, they will get rid of you.

this is a warning to the rest of the talents.
A warning for what? Not to use discord for personal shit? That's pretty extreme ngl. You retards are almost acting worse than /vt/ right now

Rushia fan is live

Don't be a faggot.

Fubuki's hosting a Twitter space right now. Might be worth tuning into for those who can understand.

Edit: Seems to have nothing noteworthy here. Mostly fluff and playing with her cat.

Edit: Seems like Mio will be streaming later too. From her Karaoke stream during Coco's graduation announcement, her perspective might help put things in place a bit more.

Yeah, I'm not really sure why everyone is expecting all the members to post some super emotional response. They're the public face of the company, of course they're not necessarily going to post all their personal thoughts on the matter (or at least the smart ones won't). I just see their tweets as a neutral PR response. Doesn't necessarily mean they don't care about her/the situation (although it's also entirely possible that they don't), they likely just don't want to inadvertently start shit or draw lots of attention to the matter aside from just acknowledging that it happened, especially since she was terminated and not graduating.
Plus I feel like for these of situations, tweets like the ones people want must be pre-approved.
Just a simple thanks for supporting me, I'll continue to do my best is fine really. It's a company, something that slips people's para-social minds. Any sadness can be dealt with behind closed doors with people they are actually close to if that is preferred by them. In the end, fans aren't that close to their oshi (except you, Pippa, I'm coming for you 🪓🙂).

Well, best of luck to the whole lot of them. Life is not easy. Take care, strive, good and happiness is out there.

you expect her to disagree publicly with their employer's decision?
No, if things had pointed more to an overreaction by Cover I'd expect her to have been less frank. Sure there's need for the talent to handle it professionally and I'm sure they had time to prepare, but they're streamers, not cold blooded suits. If that's not enough, Fubuki isn't remotely juxtaposing herself to this. Given what we have, it seems pretty clear to me where the fault lies

just funny to see vshojo and the extras having literal fucking meltdowns on twitter while rushia's close genmates are laughing and joking like nothing even happened. really speaks to how serious this situation could actually be, and how little EN indies understand about japanese culture even though they directly profit on it

Almost surely fake, it's the dead middle of the night on USA and no way she is awake much less Gura of all people would be tweeting shit like that
Well, some of the girls are night owls, like Kiara making fun of BaeRys at like 3:30 AM, so the time thing isn't entirely out of the question.
The rest of it is, though.

weird that none of the holo talents seem to be affected by this at all, i've only seen big EN indies melting down over this
EN indies and Holo EN taking it hard because they are more fans than they are coworkers.
He's still going at it.
Are there any JP websites that report suicides or gruesome stuff like that? I get the feeling we are gonna have a couple uninstalling in the next days

Imagine having the money to afford gifting away 30k a year and ending it all because a virtual girl got fired from her job. Wtf happened to your average japanese man.

? I don't think any vshojo girl has said anything about this, except for mouse tweeting a crying emoji
