Why exactly did they choose to get rid of nuclear power plants?

The German Green or Ecological movement has long been anti nuclear. It wasn't unexpected that they pushed the senior coalition partner to it, but maybe not the best time. If German nuclear plants are still just about open or capable of being reopened, the urban bugman might get a chance to freeze to death for their beliefs, as they screech over it.

I don't have a source in english, but the Swedish prime minister basically said fuck that, someone else will have to take them.
Sweden only wants refugees from the other side of the world for some reason.

Poland will be more than happy to take them given their manpower shortage in the various industries, except most Ukrainians don't want to stay in Poland and use it as a ticket to Germany who might have the same attitude as Sweden.

Anyone who can't get into Poland will probably go to Romania or Turkey.
