As a Russian, all I'm currently feeling is:

Each time the things seem to get at least somewhat better, it all just trips and falls right back into shit. Again and again. A neverenging cycle of getting up and falling into shit. What's the point of this political insanity, instability, wrecked economy and suffering of common people? Senility? Megalomania? Appeasing the demons who feed on human pain?
I know this post is meandering and emotional, but man, I just don't know what to expect and hope for any longer. Maybe the doompill will wear off, but currently things aren't looking too bright.

I’m merchant marine, and we had all kinds of knee pads and shit for kneeling while painting, scaling rust, fixing equipment, etc. AltaFLEX and shit. Most of the time, I found them a lot less comfortable than just kneeling on my actual knees.

But that’s not the funny part. The funny part is that some dipshit journalist said you need knee pads to fire a gun.

I have a great sympathy for the Russian people. You motherfuckers have been living in a frozen hellscape for a thousand years, putting up with some of the worst environmental and social conditions in history, and that's bred an incredible resilience into you as a people. I just wish you'd stop producing crazy sons of bitches that think mass murder solves everything.

Well, uh, it kind of does. It's just a lot harder when arms are more sophisticated, terrain is a lot more complex, and there's a fuck load more people.

The October Revolution was an attempt to get rid of these crazy assholes and get some freedom up in this bitch but it got hijacked by another group of crazy assholes.

Pretty much any explosions areas not near the border can probably be chalked up to these, going after military bases, airfields, communication sites, power plants, or anything else that can hinder Ukraine's ability to mount an effective defense. They've probably got a literal list they're working their way down as aircraft capacity allows.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm using the term "rocket" in my posts as a generic term for when I'm not entirely sure what type of explosive munition it is, as "missile" tends to bring to mind ICBMs and other "lol everyone's gonna die" toys when in the context of Russia. Don't take this as me hinting at you to stop providing more detail on the stuff I'm posting though -- your commentary on all the stuff I've been dragnetting up has been useful!
