why she did it is also fairly obvious, she wanted to clear the drama. and if you consider the part about dissatisfaction about management legit as well, it's not outlandish that she felt the need she had to do it on her own. it makes sense from a certain point of view, even if it wasn't the smartest way to go about it (which begs the question, why was no one around to stop her?).
and again, nothing about that would explain the cold shoulder from the others.
