I’ll help everyone out:
Biden is retarded
Trump is retarded
Deranged American oligarchs are evil and don’t give a shit about you
Deranged Russian oligarchs are evil and don’t give a shit about you
All true. Doesn't mean I don't have my own interests, tho.

I'm hoping that Biden's handlers do something stupid enough to pave way for a Race War in the West so we can get a Final Solution/Day of the Rope twofer.

US and friends seem divided on whether to kick Russia from SWIFT or not. No comments from America itself yet or not.

Russian's are highly specialized in combined arms and defensive warfare. They send their best guys first with heavy armor, and insert Spetznas teams and Paratroopers (they have their own branch that serves as similar role to the United States Marine Corps)
This is correct. The conscripts are used in defensive formations set up behind the offensive line so that when the fighting gets rough the well-trained guys can retreat with minimal losses and the enemy can be bled out on well-manned, well-entrenched fortifications.

It's a solid strategy, though like any not without costs and weaknesses.

What could Biden have done?

Outside the sanctions, the easiest thing would be "don't fuck up AFG".

We need a time machine for that but it's the only thing that I can think of which would legitimately give the US any credibility which might give Putin pause.
When you get kicked out of a country because you just decided to ignore a bunch of promises from the previous administration and bungle the retreat...why the fuck would Putin take military threats from the US seriously?

Funny how those dominoes stack up eventually when it comes to credibility. Perhaps it would not have mattered, but something tells me it did.
What America should have done is sat down with Russia and the Ukraine and tried to hash out some sort of agreement where the Russians get some of eastern Ukraine and an agreement that the Ukraine would never join NATO. This was a minor diplomatic issue on the fringes of Europe and because the American government is filled with blood-thirsty crazies it's been turned into a crisis that is going to send gas prices skyrocketing and add even more on top of the already terrible levels of inflation. Biden couldn't have done anything because he's barely sentient but the people who control him could have viewed the situation realistically and acted reasonably but they were never going to do that.

Wouldn't necessarily say it's the correct decision for those reasons though. Mainly due to the fact that there might legit be a civil crisis if we enter into WW3 and they try to reinstate the draft.
My best chance to get an adrenaline fix/something to tell the grandkids, and it would require taking orders from a senile fool and incompetent faggots. This sucks.

Im guessing theyd send their 18 year olds who don't want to be there as the first wave instead of spending their hardened fighting force.
Eh, nah. You actually want your best guys to be your spearhead, especially after the shock and awe of an initial strike with aircraft and artillery and the command disruption allowing mechanized troops to run wild. I'd guess that this is more a result of troops going too nuts in running off by themselves and advancing recklessly after the initial chaos and running into reorganized enemy concentrations and finding themselves biting off more than they can chew.

Russian equipment is so old it still has Soviet iconography. Fascinating, really
I was thinking the same thing. Are they just throwing the expandable B-team at the Ukrainians to probe their defenses? Or is this really what they have. They can't win a war this way if the west does get more involved.

I mean Russia has mandatory conscription for all young men. Im guessing theyd send their 18 year olds who don't want to be there as the first wave instead of spending their hardened fighting force.
other way round

you use the hardened elite troops to take territory with a quick and decisive advance, then dig in and create fortified positions, and then you send your lowly conscripts to man those fortified positions against possible enemy counterattacks while you take your elite troops somewhere else.
