I would say pretty decent odds.
At this point it is obvious to the world that Biden is completely impotent. A war breaks out in Europe and he goes to bed. That fucking says it all.
And when he comes out to speak he sounds even more senile and confused that Grandpa Simpson. He is a joke and by extension the US is a joke right now. No one has to fear the US, no one has to respect the US and no one has to care about what the US thinks.

Xi knows that right now he can take Taiwan with no consequences and no one to stand up against him. This opportunity might not return in 50 years.
