Exactly. Russia doesn't allow any form of assembly by ethnicity, especially with ethnic Russians. Neither is it a Christian nation, as 7% of the entire population attend church weekly. Nick supports Russia because he thinks its "based" and he will get behind anything he thinks will make the west look bad. Even though Ukraine is not a NATO member state, if Putin installs a Russia-friendly head of state that will not join NATO, Ukraine will basically become a buffer state for Russia, and Nick sees that as a victory against globalism and jewish power or something.
