I don't think anyone wants him to do anything too different but he was portrayed as the anti-Putin from the election and continued into his presidency yet he's not living up to that at all. Now that Biden has gotten his nap in and formally addressed the nation on it he's basically said we're not going to do anything. Worse, his current plan of action isn't even drafted up because his administration isn't on he same page as members of the EU and sanctions are a concerted effort.
