I see this everywhere, holoEN permissions with vshojo arent the same as nijiEN, if something holoEN has an ironmouse permission (and a 1 time nyanners permission) but not a whole vshojo permission like nijiEN has (like every member from both sides collabing freely). And for now only Calli & Kiara shown interest in collabing with some of the members, which are 2/11 of the total of holoEN.

As for why nijiEN/holoEN doesnt collab heres my personal rrat: it comes from nijiEN side. Since their talents act more freely in being lewd or degenerate (just look at finana) collabing with vshojo doesnt seem a problem since they are way worse. Now with holoEN there will be a self-censorship to fit the audience (just look at how nerfed was nyanners on the collab), that and maybe nijiEN wants a free-for-all collab with all holos like they do with vshojo, but from the 11 members only 1 is interested which is Kiara.

After reading up on what you guys said I do feel like this is a very nuanced situation.
Rushia not only went to a Japanese Drama Channel to detail alot of private matters but seemingly riled up some of her more hardcore fans in dms.
All of that essentially played a role in fanning the flames and causing Yahoo to cover it.

Unfortunately though, Cover is likely still going to take a PR blow because it looks like they fired a talent for potentially having a BF to outsiders looking in.

I guess the silver layer is that at least her roommate is going to get a lot of support regardless of what happened regarding her termination.

Yeah I'm not sure about this. Even Finana is capable of not being a degenerate, in fact she kind of gets the Marine treatment of being flanderised as constantly horny when most of her streams are almost completely innocuous. Most of the members are not even remotely known for being crude.

On top of that, NijiEN's first stream with VShojo was Pomu and Melody. A 1-on-1. The only mention of NijiEN x HoloEN collabs have also been 1-on-1's so they aren't angling for any huge event.

I think if you want to go the route of the issue coming from Niji's side, it would have to be something like management putting a timed blocker on Hololive specifically so that the members can cultivate an audience that isn't reliant on HoloEN dead hours.

Like, they pull in literal millions of dollars. If they rode the wave for 5 years, it's enough cash to set them up for life. And there is basically one major no-no. Shit, it's not even like they have to be this way for life, just spend enough time to secure a giant bag to be set for life, and then bail.

Like, if someone said "Hey, you can earn $5 Million bucks from lonely weirdos over the course of the next few years, but you can't talk to the opposite gender, have relationships with them, or have sex during that period", so many people would take that deal easily. You can say it's a fucked up culture, but those are the rules everyone agrees to when they enter into the vtuber world. For some reason they always think they'll be the one's who can get it both ways, but they end up fucking it up, lol.

At this point, I think everyone figured out it has nothing to do with the relationship and more to do with sharing sensitive info but to humor your point, yeah, people can't keep their shit together. Many people would make that deal easily but not many of them would be able to stay true to it. Im more the type of watching the talent alone without interruptions, at least in holoEN you know that if someone is playing minecraft, jump king or apex, others might join in.
