Is Natalia Poklonskaya OK? last I heard the Ukes called her a war criminal, or something.
I'm just translating the telegram. I wouldn't call it fierce but the civilian cars casually driving around definitely look out of place
That was just my poor attempt at gallows humor, although NYC does sometimes sound like that.

The driving around is very strange, I'd be either getting as far away as possible or hiding in home.

In the area of Kherson, fighting continues, the Russian military is trying to go to the city through N.P Oleshki in the south of him, where they suffered losses in clashes from the Ukrainian army, apparently the entire column destroyed. Also, the blows continue to apply the CCM RF. They report that the Russian army is trying to bypass Kherson on the part of New Kakhovka.

Ukraine keeps tweeting that it's destroyed Russian columns left and right but there's never any evidence. Not that Russia's telling the truth either, but the fact they're in the capital already really makes me doubt the image they're trying to present of Ukraine basically annihilating Russian forces.

When are the Russians going to unveil their heavy bombers? (bears).

It's obvious that trying to kill civilians is a Russian hobby but they're actually holding back.

The Russians are more focused on getting their own soldiers killed right now. When
they have finished inflicting enough casualties on their own men through bad planning
and making the same mistakes they make in every conflict, they will probably kill some
civilians.

Yes its hard to square the "russkis btfo and surrendering in droves" with the fact that russian tanks are in Kiev already and they Ukie government is signalling that haha maybe agreed neutrality would be ok sorry for my bad mistake daddy?

Why? Kyiv was always going to be an Achilles's Heel. Ukraine couldn't afford to have both ORDLO and Kyiv protected massively and even then Russians aren't getting what they want easily.

It's not that Ukraine isn't resisting, it's that I think they're overstating how much damage they're doing. We already have one explicit example of them claiming to have shot down a Russian heavy bomber when it was actually footage of one of their own jets getting downed.
