A couple of graphic photos of a dead Russian soldier. Looks like part of the left side of his torso got blown off

unless European intervention, 3-6 days tops. At this point, Poland has gotta be looking a little nervous along with Estonia and Latveria. Pucker your asses ladies and gentleman, and don't forget to look east.
It's possible that Russia might not occupy Ukraine, just install some friendly government officials and then fuck off. On the other hand, Putin legitimately did sound that he was serious when he said that Ukraine was basically a fake country.

They're not going to just fuck off. The new government will need some support for a while. It's gonna be occupied.
And you can bet the Russians will establish bases on the Polish border.

Yes, if he has at least two functioning brain cells he'll negotiate a surrender and he might be lucky to enough to allowed to go into exile. I can't say I know the extent to which Moscow, which means Putin, harbors animosity towards him so what terns he can get are unknown to me.

Honestly he should surrender like the French in WWII and everyone can just get on with life.

Ukranians have started drafting anyone willing to their "Terratorial Defence forces". No age limits.

Ukraine has gone full Volkssturm!

Papa Hitler would be proud on the no age limits.

Yes, we don't know how things really is. Official media only provides info on Russian casualties, nothing about Ukrainians. We pretty much don't have any info on how our army is doing and what casualties they are taking.

Also, it seems that Ukrainian army is very short on rifles and other personal weapons. Some people claim that the army can't equip all their men.
That is what I've been noticing too. Hardly any negatives about anything for Ukraine. Just videos of blown up Russian tanks, captured soldiers, and etc.
There isn't anything too concrete either way how either side is really doing, and I imagine it won't be so at least for a week/weeks.

No country, European or otherwise, is coming to Ukraine's aid. Unless the Russians go Stalingrad on Kiev and slaughter hundreds in the streets on video, none will get involved. Poland is a NATO country and Putin is many things but a retard is not one of them. Poland will be OK.

The Baltics are also OK. For now. We'll see to what extent they can rely on foreign aid in case Russia looks their way.

RT so caveat emptor.

But Turkey is NOT going to close the Straits to Russian ships.

“Turkey has said that, under certain conditions, Russian naval vessels would be still allowed to cross the Bosphorus and Dardanelles Straits even if the strategic waterway is closed to them during the conflict with Ukraine.
On Thursday, the Ukrainian envoy to Turkey asked Ankara to close the route connecting the Black and Mediterranean Seas for the Russian Navy. The appeal came hours after Moscow launched an attack on Ukraine, which it argued was necessary to protect the people in two breakaway Donbass republics.”

Russian troops in western Belarus indicating the russians might be going for the Western part of West Ukraine aka Fully Maximalist We Are Taking It All which genuinely surprises me

Also this comment in reply might be on to something

It more looks like (so far) as if they want to encircle Kiev from all sides. Russians (again, so far) operate in regions from which they can move on the capital, everything else is a "safe zone".

Turkey does not want to create any excuse for Russia to attack them.
