I've noticed this too, from what I've seen on Twitter and FB you'd think the Russians are absolutely getting their shit pushed in but it's clearly not the case given the advances they've made in the time it's taken.

Kiev is in a tough spot and was always going to be a nightmare to defend. Its fall won't signal the end of Ukrainian resistance, but it will provide a very clean point for the people who like the status-quo and want this off TV to go "well, sucks about Russian Man getting control of Ukrainistan or whatever it was called, it's important that at times like this we remember our core values and stay strong with our partners in the region. Know what would make you feel better? How about a new Toyota?"

I honestly observe the opposite where things are relatively calm and just videos being posted at this hour, and then the thread turns into a shitshow when the Biden buttlickers and slavaboos show up to call each other nigger

Russian and Ukrainian army use very similar, and sometimes near identical, equipment. Z (likely for ZAPAD - ЗАПАД "WEST") is almost certainly used in part by the Russians to identify friendly forces. It may also have to do with Echelons/Waves of advance, with the first waving having Z and different waves being denoted by different letters. I've seen pictures of reinforcements in Belarus with what seems to be a V instead, though take that observation with a grain of salt.

Those people are imbeciles but we've discussed how the indecision, vacillation and downright weakness and incompetence of the Biden administration can lead to events spiraling out of control in unexpected ways. Even the Russian dash to take over the entire Ukraine is directly rooted in that. China is already making moves towards Taiwan, which has the potential to cause most of Asia to become tangled up in a war with China. World war is not going to happen because Russia takes over Ukraine but it's a signal for others to undertake a similar incursion when our President and his administration are ineffective, which may lead to a world war. But these morons don't think past their hot twitter takes.

The woman and her mom didn't realize until afterwards that one of their protectors was actually Russian.
