The Nux Taku situation definitely put a sour taste in my mouth with VShojo. They threw him under the bus publically but wanted to "hash this out in private DMs" the moment that public opinion was shifting. That's pretty sly to me. You don't get to have your cake and eat it like that, publically calling for someone's head and then settling it privately when your ass is on the line.
But the big issue is how they dealt with the doxxer/swatter.
They had a doxxer/swatter impersonating them. Their excuse of "we were protecting our talent" falls flat when you realise the doxxer was pretending to be recruiting for VShojo and as such was targetting members of the public hoping to become VShojo talent. When it all came out, they were more concerned about their image. They put a lot of people at risk who wouldn't have had a company to help protect them if their info was leaked, and the solution was literally just putting out a tweet saying "VShojo will always contact you on this email address, never ask for this information and never contact you first. If you believe someone is pretending to be VShojo to elicit information from you, please forward us their email and we'll send it to our cybersecurity department".
It's really not hard to make a statement, and would have protected a lot of people. It's not enough to make me outright hate them, but god they were retarded there and they wouldn't have been the ones suffering as a result.

I get pissed off at some of the caps of people bemoaning about Cover not giving enough information and they should be fully transparent like it's the 2020 election and Rushia was so close to becoming Queen of Youtube. Cover and Hololive are not public utilities or civil services. They are a private company. They have girls get in front of a camera and do cute shit for an audience. Disclosing any info would not sate the retards on the internet at best and at worst would confirm info that Rushia leaked out which could potentially put more heat on Rushia herself or send actual weirdos to the homes of the other talents *cue the video of 10 or so twinks all assaulting their idol in a hotel room*. I think these dumbasses are just hoping that there's some sort of email that they'll find that says "HOHOHOHO Now we can finary fuck ova da wershboard!" to confirm their preconceived bias that Cover is an evil company and must be destroyed. There's no way that Yago dressed up in HardGay cosplay and pinched his nipples at the thought of yeeting Rushia. She is their top earner. They actually went out of their way to cover for her when the discord message popped up but Rushia could not stop herself from trying to quell the deluge of vitriol at her and her company. Was it to save her own skin from any real or imagined threats or to try in her own way to be a professional and make things right for her company? It doesn't matter because the character of Rushia is now dead and she's not coming back.
I don't know why this incident intrigues and saddens me so. Anyways, I'll stop gaying up the place and let y'all enjoy this video I found.

As for the constant "why was this so vague" comments, I want everyone who thinks this was vague to eat a brick. This wasn't vague at all. In fact they were extremely blunt about what she did. If your definition of vague is that they didn't provide damning evidence of her breach, clearly you do not fucking understand what "confidential" or "sensitive" means.
This nebulous response isn't a suggestion. Cover's Managers only exist to manage the Talents' vtuber shit and nothing else. Cover will provide some aid and the girls will support each other if something goes awry, but what they do privately is largely out of Cover's hands. The girls' are more on their own when shit blows up in their face, but that's the cost of giving the girls the freedom they have. Asking for more is actively asking Cover to do what idol agencies do and Micromanage their Talents' existence.

Now in general I want to address the Cover bashing. It's almost as if no one ever pays attention to this thread because if anything, at most, Cover is just slightly incompetent with the usual corpo nip retardation. You can't hold their mistakes in the first few years against them cause they were basically a back alley start up then. If anything Cover is basically just an indie corp that found a way to make a fuckton of money without having to be a massive establishment. They have, and probably still do to some extent, lack the infrastructure to manage the audience they have now; from harassment campaigns to gachikoi. This isn't something you can fix overnight and they have been getting better about it. Cover sees the least amount of graduations/terminations of any corpo for a reason. And I highly doubt its because they'er being held hostage.
If anything their biggest sin, based on little things the girls have said over the years, is that there's too much corporate bureaucracy involved in getting help with bigger issues or general permissions for games and big projects. The usual nip company problem.
And to make this point abundantly clear for the retards in the back, why would a company that has done everything in their power not to fire any of their talents, even when several others have broken contract or violated other terms, choose to fire their biggest talent for any reason other than "She royally fucked up in a way we can't let slide."

I am convinced that the mentality of holoEN is that streaming is a side activity for their job in HL, whereas NijiEN treats it as a full time gig even for those with side commitments. We don't always see wtf holoEN are working on but recently whenever they've revealed something it's always felt to me like "that's nice but really? This is what you've been spending half your effort the past few months on?". Meanwhile the NijiEN folks are putting out covers and planning large group collabs etc all while streaming 2 digit hours per week.

"A couple of weeks" is when the Mafumafu saga started, so that by itself doesn't imply there was more. Your second post is consistent with the "it has been apparent for some time" in Cover's termination notice. Speculation though.
There were people who said Kson's willingness (or refusal) to collab with Rushia's roommate would indicate who was to blame or the magnitude of what Rushia did, so I'm surprised there's no autistic overanalysis of Kson's tweet. But I guess that would be missing Kson's point.

Even so, Rosemi still works full-time, Petra is still a full-time student, Pomu still works part-time. I'm pretty sure Millie and Enna also work in some capacity too because they had rent responsibilities before joining the company. Mysta and Vox also pay rent and live in London (which is expensive) so they probably work too for now until those paychecks starts stabilising.
They just work really hard and/or are better at managing their time, or just really love streaming.
