The west is full of galaxy brain pissants. Canada wants to remove Russia from swift cutting them off from international trade completely. Telling Russia has nothing left to loss. Russia might as well go ballistic after that.

Most of the money goes to absolute waste. We can’t just go by the numbers here. The F-35 is the worst example and is basically a useless plane.
I don't disagree with you there, but it's 70 billion versus 700 billion. If the US is spending 80% of that 700b on literally fucking nothing, they still have double the expenditure. It's not even close.
This goes without saying that if U.S. equipment is considered useless, all the soviet-era junkers Russia is still propping up are about as effective as cardboard boxes with "tank" written on the side.

Okay, the convoy footage is definitely starting to form a pattern. Anyone willing to place bets that CIA or US military intelligence is slipping satellite recon to the Ukranians?

negro, it's not even conspiracy theory. THEY SAID THAT THEY WILL.

just because you didn't read cliffs it's not a conspiracy theory.

Can those 700b cover a nuclear holocaust's expenditure?

Wow, it's like it was a mistake to expand NATO after the Soviet Union, to former Soviet satalites/territiores, who have centuries long blood feuds with Russia itself.

I would not be surprised if those countries just pull out of NATO and form their own Slav Defense pact over the course of the next few weeks.
They should. At least they don't have to answer to the whims of a fickle ally across the ocean.

(Ironically, this was what interwar Poland was pushing for before they got their shit pushed in by both the Germans and USSR.)

I can tell you it’s definitely more than 80%.

If by "Cossacks", you mean "Muzzies that will give your sporting event a pressure-cooker-n-shrapnel surprise, or enrich your neck with an axe", then yes.
So the difference between the real Tsar and Putin is that at least the Tsar's half-savage attack dogs were the same religion as the populace?

I hate to say anything that could remotely be interpreted as defending Putin, but is it possible (or even likely) that Russia in general and Putin specifically don't WANT the Ukraine, they just don't want a NATO enemy literally on their border?

Putin is smart enough to be hard to read and on top of that expert at that Russian thing of never just directly saying what your motives are, but seriously, if he wants something like "don't join NATO and plus we get to keep using the deep water ports in your country," what's the big deal?
Thats a legitimate concern. But again, a myriad of concessions were made to were Ukraine can remain independent and not be in NATO. Unfortunately Putin is a paranoid skitzo so now we're here.

Donetsk People's Militia has captured a position in Mariupol from the veteran Ukrainian 53rd Brigade.

And, surprise. surprise, apparently they found a "Right Sector" (Ukrainian Far-Right group) hideout right under the Ukrainian positions in a literal basement. Apparently, the right sector guys just left their flags, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. -esque patches and literal membership cards lying around in there.

To me, this seems way too convenient to be anything but a Russian glowop to justify their narrative on the Ukranians.

I'm gonna mash X and shower that one with rainbows. We've already established that Russia doesn't deploy conscripts in offensive operations, and I highly doubt things are going so poorly that Putin's already in more crosshairs than usual. I also highly doubt that his "Hitler rantings" are anything more than sales pitch. Kiev's going to be enough of a mess by itself without NATO turning this into Red Storm Rising.

Putin's the lesser of two evils. Bad as what the media says about him, and bad as what he actually does, a good majority of our major politicians are as bad if not worse than him.

I'm certain that is a driving factor in his invasion, but a victor can literally create reasons to justify their military incursions. War is mighty profitable to merchants and victors, between Russia owning Ukraine as a vassal state if they win and their semi-allied country of China, they'd have half of the worlds stock of grains, rice, and corn. It would constitute a massive economical advantage over anyone (globohomo) from trying to flex on those two.
