It's too fucking late, if they were gonna surrender they would have pre-invasion they are committed to their decision now. It's not like they had the time to do a nationwide vote on the issue so they are fucked. You can blame Ukraine that its their fault for not capitulating or you can blame the Russians for invading. I don't think there is a correct answer to the question its entirely subjective.

To be fair, over here there's actually some substantial flooding going on. So it's peppered in between updates on how bad things are gonna get here weather wise. Although you're right. Most new channels and perspectives I've seen have drawn ranks around Ukraine, and aren't very pro-Putin. Although it was Putin's backed separatists who shot down MH-17, and so there's a lot of bad blood there.
