OK, can someone explain to me exactly where the fuck the Russians are supposed to be located? News have been saying that they are on the outskirts of Kiev for like 30 hours now, we should be hearing non-stop artillery and gunshots, this just looks like any other day.
The reports such as they are, had the russians trying to take the city infrastructure toward the outskirts of the city and moving to cult it off from the outside. There was no big push into
the central part of the city. But in the middle of the night, there was some sort of probe or raid that got within three miles of the government center of the city. You could hear the gunfire
being exchanged at a distance on the videos from the square. A Ukranian source says that attack down the main road was repulsed. But after that report, the Russians seemed
(by the sound of gunfire) to have made a second attempt. They probably pulled back, but there is no solid information as to where they pulled back to in the city.

I would assume that they are holding back to organize a big move into the city and/or to see if the other side is willing to negotiate before they push in.
The raid last night was interesting in terms of how far they were able to push their way into the city before they were stopped. But the situation in the city
is totally unclear.

This isn't an autoritative report by any means. This is my personal evaluation based on what I've seen in the last 12 hours from various sources.

I'm not a fan of Putin but I'm astonished when people fail to understand the Ukraine demanding to join NATO and also becoming the DNC's bitch were bad moves that could only antagonize Russia, Also failing to see the US is in no position to defend it when our Commander in Chief is a caricature of a President no one respects so Putin knew he could get away with going in. That's not simping, it's reality.

While it seems you are a Ukrainian yourself, this isn't the Team Ukraine thread, we're here to watch this two sided slav clusterfuck. Make one yourself if you want posts on supporting Ukraine but you really do come off as a shill.

yes, I am well aware how I feel about sleepy Joe, just like the rest of most non retard Americans

I AM also a slav nigger, so excuse me if I understand that part of the world far better than you and I can natively read both nigger slav languages as well as get info from sites that most of you here can't read.

I try to post shit from relevant and reliable sources, but it seems like you guys prefer a circle jerk of slav hate, psychopathic memes of people suffering and repost fakes as long as it fit the narrative you like. Everything else is shilling, lol. No wander techpriest just gave up on you faggots and left. No worries, I will try to focus on posting more dead russians tomorrow instead of actual info that may be of interest.

An ancient Greek tradition they learned from the Byzantines?

They truly were the Third Rome all along. Prussian's never had an institution of sodomy, just lame shit like sword duels. Fake Third Rome btfo.

The fuck? What if the Russians decide to shoot them anyway?

I'm imaging a future were Zelensky and his cabinet are holded up, Assange style, in the French embassy - running the Ukrainian government-in-exile whilst still being in the capital.

Whilst I agree that pushing for Ukrainian membership of NATO was a step too far, and shouldn't have been pursued, at the same time it still seems like treating Russia as some kind retard or feral animal that must lash out. What would a Ukrainian NATO actually have achieved besides a few more CIA listening posts on the Russian border and a new customer for Raytheon?

It's not like Putin or his immediates truly believed that NATO would eventually stage a pre-emptive land invasion of Russia. Was the hypothetical of some-kind of invasion really worth sabotaging their own energy grip on Europe which they had been using for years to avoid any major impact on their economy? They were already in a perfectly good strategic position, bringing Kazakhstan back into the fold, the eventually de-facto annexation of Belarus with the "Union State" after Lukashenko is gone (which incidentally would have put them on NATO's border too), that new pipeline bringing in tones of cash and begrudging Germany to look the other way more often.

NATO won't do shit because nobody has the balls to call bluff on Putin's nuclear threat. They keep making excuses for Ukraine and Georgia, when Turkey shot down the Russian plane in Syria there was immediate distancing from other NATO members, the Moldovan-owned, Japanese-owned and Turkish-owned cargo ships don't count because mental gymnastics and so on and so forth. Macron is a fucking moron but he was completely right when he said that NATO is braindead. That's why I legitimately think that the Baltics and Poland may be fucked. All of the US' biggest rivals now know for certain that NATO is a load of hot air.
The difference is that an embassy is the sovereign soil of the nation housed there. France is obligated to treat an attack on their embassy like an attack on Paris, because if they don't, then that's open season for every other nation on earth to waltz into their local one and seize everything inside.

That wasn't Russia though, it was the US?

Not sure how Grenada is relevant to this but I am mildly retarded so please explain
Well Jet Fuel Johnny explained it.

As far as relevancy, since many here are questioning Russia's effectiveness against an inferior force and struggling, there could some Grenada style fuckups on their part when the fog settles.

One thing that really demonstrates how fucked up America is as a country is how passionately the media and the left as a whole have been celebrating the Ukranians compared to how they react when America is in a war. There were no articles during the War On Terror years about the exploits of some badass soldier like with the "Ghost of Kiev" bullshit. They weren't cheering on the Americans like it was a football game.
Just a really fucking bizarre country where half of the people will root for another country in a war that their own nation has no involvement in but won't do the same for the own soldiers and in fact will often shit on them every chance they are given.

>psychopathic memes of people suffering
:story: Nigger half your posts have been laughing at Russian soldiers who burned to death.

Techpriest is a gay nigger who parrots whatever CNN's bullshit position is at the time. No one cares that he left the thread.

Whatever Putin's final goal is with this, it's worth cratering their relationship with the West entirely and he is proceeding despite the already catastrophic damage to Russia's economy alone. China can most likely balance any losses sustained in that area and are happy to form a healthy, long term relationship to help Russia force NATOs hand. The means justify the ends for Putin and he clearly doesn't give a shit. The manpower and weaponry used in Ukraine appears to be only a fraction of what they have prepared. Whatever his end goal is, he doesn't seem concerned by whatever resistance is being levelled against him with sanctions or military support from nearby Western allies.

I think his decision for a slow and deliberate takeover is to both accelerate Western interference to prove his case that they're agitating dickheads and make territory claim sustainable long term. This is calculated and he's not going in with guns blazing like the US enjoys doing to establish dominance. Resources are being managed carefully to make this permanent. Putting all of his eggs in one basket by descending upon Ukraine like hell's fury is illogical. I imagine that keeping infrastructure intact as much as possible is also favourable, so when the government is replaced with one of his liking they don't have to expend more resources repairing unneeded damage they created to "do it faster". In addition it means Russia minimialises their own casualties if the majority isn't all clustered in territory framed with NATO allies who could effectively ambush and squash from 3/4 sides with a few big booms. Further... Slowly increasing pressure to force capitulation and surrender is a better outcome financially at the very least.
