We invaded them before the crisis. The crisis was the result of us fucking up an invasion.

It’s more like if we had given back Ukraine’s nukes after Crimea as a deterrent against further invasion. The later crisis really isn’t analogous to what’s going on now in any sense.

God there are so many ignorant armchair historians in this thread.

Also the United States did, in fact, ready a large force in Florida to invade Cuba during the crisis and also made preparations to launch a series of nuclear strikes against targets there and in the USSR. It was an extremely serious incident and American military forces were most certainly not fucking around.
Ah yeah I thought it must be something like that, thanks guys

I was thinking the Thirty Years' War, which started with the Protestant league kicking the Hapsburgs out of Bohemia. The Ukrainian pro-Russian rebels aren't nearly as effective against their government as the Bohemian ones were though.
Syria already has 30 Years War analogue going. With foreign intervention to keep it going and all.

Germany now helping out massively with weaponry :
“The Russian attack marks a turning point. It is our duty to do our best to help Ukraine defend against the invading army of Putin. That's why we're supplying 1000 anti-tank weapons and 500 stinger missiles to our friends in Ukraine.”

So germany wants to even further limit its own capabilities by emptying its own stocks? Nice.

The Chechen government's website went down for some reason

EDIT: CIA claims responsibility

I suspect that the United States will be sending them some replacements, probably of a newer model to make up for it. The soviets had a similar system for supplying non Warsaw pact allies back in the day.

It's cringy how Westerners are making up "heroes" or "martyrs", when in reality, there's no such shit in Ukranian/Russian social media.
The Farters or Kharkiv. The Sharters of Novi Buh. The Buck Breaker of Rozivka. The Ass Fucker of Kherson.
It's like these people are so fucked up in the head that they can't see reality without turning it into some type of Anime/Movie main character.

Footage from earlier today that is allegedly a Chechen column headed to the front. What makes this interesting is that if true the Chechens don't appear to mind posting stuff to social media unlike the rest of the Russian forces.
Imagine this: at some point, maybe in the very near future, there will be a war won entirely by shitposting.

I mean its not like its was gonna go anywhere it was there just for show, if Russia actually marched boots on Germany they would just goatse themselves as a welcome gift
