For example if you enlisted from 18 to 24 and then spent the next could of decades jerking off you are still able to reenlist at age 46-1 day. As for commissions you can literally get them at any age. For example the US government is able to commission an officer who is 70 years old with no prior military experience if Pentagon and president decide that he has skills that are worth ignoring actual warfighting ability.

If Ukraine wanted to be Finland, they could signed that deal with Russia and avoided the war entirely.

Most reports on Russian logistics show them in a shit state and they'll only get worse the further they get into Ukraine, and Ukraine's logistics might honestly improve with all the supplies they're getting from NATO countries. Call me an optimist , but if the Battle of Kyiv turns into a bloodbath, which it almost certainly will like nearly every major urban battle in history, Russia would probably just say fuck it and split Ukraine into two. A puppet state in central and especially western Ukraine is basically impossible to keep standing for a significant span of time.

Kyiv is a city of 2.5 million with sprawling suburbs that can take an hour to get to on a bus from center of the city. You can temporarily occupy one area or another, control major intersections, post snipers, but to occupy entire city and control everything takes a lot of troops.

Ukrainians had plenty of time to prep. It's well defended but there won't be street to street, building to building fighting.

My prediction: same shitshow. Everyone will claim victories.

I'm not even sure what Russian objective is. There is no reischchancellory to storm to plant aquafresh onto. May be that's what Ukrainians should have done, build one out of plywood so Russians can get their fill playing war and go home.

yeah but the thing is that in the AKs instance if the mag drops on its own there might be a certain issue with the gun's mag receiver or the magazine itself is not fit for a gun (if somebody wondering such things are happen, due to certain circumstances like different ammo size (lesser\bigger), manufacturing date, general changes for whatever reason etc.), while if we take any M-series based rifles they have at least 2 ejection buttons, sometimes place very inconveniently so that might cause the mag ejection if it ejection button was pushed by chance.
